James Alexander Iles (born 11 February 1990) is a former English professional cricketer. He played twice for Kent County Cricket Club.
Born in Chatham,Medway and educated at Maidstone Grammar School,Iles signed for Kent as an academy scholar in 2005,having played age-group cricket for Kent since under-13 level. [1] [2] Despite only making two appearances for the academy side and none for the county's second eleven,he made his first-class cricket debut against Cambridge University in May 2006. Iles was 16 years and 95 days old on his debut and became Kent's youngest ever cricketer,beating Wally Hardinge's record which had stood since the 1902 season. [3] [4] [5]
He made his List A cricket debut the following season in a match against the touring Sri Lanka A side. In the match,which was later abandoned due to rain,Iles bowled six overs taking the wicket of opening batsman Dilruwan Perera. [6]
These were Iles' only First XI appearances for Kent,although he continued to play Second XI cricket into the 2008 season. [2] [7] He also played rugby,representing Kent for three years. [8]
Kent County Cricket Club is one of the eighteen first-class county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. It represents the historic county of Kent. A club representing the county was first founded in 1842 but Kent teams have played top-class cricket since the early 18th century,and the club has always held first-class status. The current Kent County Cricket Club was formed on 6 December 1870 following the merger of two representative teams. Kent have competed in the County Championship since the official start of the competition in 1890 and have played in every top-level domestic cricket competition in England. The club's limited overs team is called the Kent Spitfires after the Supermarine Spitfire.
Paul John Wiseman is a New Zealand former international cricketer. "Wiz",as he was nicknamed,was an off spinner who took nine wickets in an innings for Canterbury against Central Districts in Christchurch to record the second best bowling figures in New Zealand domestic cricket. Internationally,however,he was unable to forge a significant career due to the incumbency of first-choice spinner Daniel Vettori. Wiseman was a member of the New Zealand team that won the 2000 ICC KnockOut Trophy.

Sam Alexander Northeast is an English professional cricketer who plays for Glamorgan County Cricket Club. He is a right-handed batsman. Northeast made his senior debut in 2007 and until 2017 played for Kent County Cricket Club. He captained the Kent First XI for most of the 2015 season before being formally appointed as club captain in 2016. He captained the side in 2017 before being replaced before the 2018 season after declining to sign a contract extension committing himself to the club in the longer term.
The County Ground,Beckenham is a cricket ground in Beckenham in the London Borough of Bromley. The ground is owned by Leander Sports and Leisure and is used as an outground by Kent County Cricket Club for First XI fixtures,as well as for other matches. As of 2019 the Kent Women cricket team played the majority of their matches at the ground.

Hugh Robert Bernard is an English former professional cricketer who has played for Kent County Cricket Club. He is a right-arm medium-fast pace bowler and a right-handed batsman. Bernard is a graduate of the Kent Cricket Academy and has featured in Kent's Second XI since 2014 as well as playing club cricket for Folkestone. In June 2015,Bernard signed his first professional contract with Kent. He made his first-class debut on 1 May 2016 against Glamorgan.

A slow left arm bowler,he made his first-class cricket debut in May 2016 against Northamptonshire in the 2016 County Championship and has gone on to play in limited overs competitions for the county.
