Jamiatul Qasim Darul Uloom -il-Islamia is an Islamic seminary in India. [3] The Jamia was established by Mufti Mahfoozur Rahman Usmani, an Islamic scholar of India. [4] [5] [6] [7] in 1989, Indo-Nepal border, in Supaul, Bihar. [8] The Jamia also serves as a center for National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language [9] and National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology. [10]
There are 15 Qur'anic centres under the supervision of Jamiatul Qasim Darul Uloom -il-Islamia and 25 branches of the Jamia spread over the state of Bihar. [11]
In January 2017, the students and teachers of the Jamia formed a human chain in support of the Alcohol prohibition in Bihar. [12]
The Alimiat Degree of this madrasa has been recognized along with 50 other Arabic madrasas by Jamia Millia Islamia [13] and Aligarh Muslim University [14] [15] In 2016, the Jamia organized Rushd-o-Hidayat conference under the guardianship of Ahmed Bukhari. It was attended by notable scholars including Muhammad Salim Qasmi, Akhtarul Wasey Muhammad Sufyan Qasmi. [3] In 2016, the Jamia organized a national level seminar along with National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language. [16] [17] The national seminar was attended by Iqtedar Mohammad Khan, Head of the Islamic Studies department of Jamia Millia Islamia. [18]
The Jamia organized a Millat Convention program in 2018 which was attended by politicians like Tejashwi Yadav. [19] This event was also attended by Hamid bin Akram al-Bukhari, a lecturer of Al-Masjid an-Nabawi. [20] An International seminar was organized in collaboration with the Islamic Studies department of Jamia Millia Islamia one the life and works Islamic scholar Muhammad Salim Qasmi. The seminar was held in the Ansari auditorium of the Jamia Millia Islamia and was attended by scholars like Akhtarul Wasey. A book on the 30-year history of Jamiatul Qasim was also released in this event. [21]

Mahmud Hasan Deobandi was an Indian Muslim scholar and an activist of the Indian independence movement, who co-founded the Jamia Millia Islamia University and launched the Silk Letter Movement for the freedom of India. He was the first student to study at the Darul Uloom Deoband seminary. His teachers included Muhammad Qasim Nanawtawi and Mahmud Deobandi, and he was authorized in Sufism by Imdadullah Muhajir Makki and Rashid Ahmad Gangohi.
Mohammad Najeeb Qasmi Sambhali is an Indian Sunni Islamic scholar who established Al-Noor Public School, Sambhal. He is an alumnus of Darul Uloom Deoband, Delhi University and the Jamia Millia Islamia. He has authored Dars-e-Hadith, Dars-e-Quran, Islahi Mazameen, Journey to Madina, Qur'an and Hadith - Main Sources of Islamic Ideology and Umrah Ka Tariqah
Al-Jamia Al-Islamia Darul Uloom Waqf Deoband is an Islamic seminary situated in the Indian town of Deoband. It was established by scholars led by Muhammad Salim Qasmi and Anzar Shah Kashmiri in 1982 as a result of administration disputes in Darul Uloom Deoband during 1980–1982. As of 2021, Muhammad Sufyan Qasmi is its rector.
Muhammad Salim Qasmi Siddiqi was an Indian Muslim scholar who co-founded the Darul Uloom Waqf in Deoband and served as its first rector. He was an alumnus of Darul Uloom Deoband. He received the fourth Shah Waliullah Award and was honoured with the Mark of Distinction from Egypt.

Saeed Ahmad Akbarabadi was an Indian Islamic scholar and an Urdu-language author who co-founded the Nadwatul Musannifeen. He served as the dean of the Faculty of Theology in Aligarh Muslim University.
Muhammad Yunus Jaunpuri was an Indian Islamic hadith scholar who served as the senior professor of hadith at the Mazahir Uloom in Saharanpur. He was one of the senior students and disciples of Muhammad Zakariyya Kandhlawi. He taught at the Mazahir Uloom and authored books such as Al-Yawaqit al-Ghaliyah, Kitab at-Tawhid and Nawadir al-Hadith.
Zayn al-Abidin Sajjad Meerthi (1910–1991) was an Indian Sunni Muslim scholar and historian and head of the Islamic studies department of Jamia Millia Islamia. His book Tarikh-e-Millat is required reading in the syllabus of Darul Uloom Deoband and in madrasas affiliated with it.
Saeed Ahmad Palanpuri, was an Indian Sunni Muslim scholar and author who served as Shaykh al-Hadith and Principal of Darul Uloom Deoband. A number of his books are required readings in Darul Uloom Deoband.
Aziz-ul-Rahman Usmani was an Indian Sunni Muslim scholar who served as first Grand Mufti of Darul Uloom Deoband. He is best known for his Fatawa Darul Uloom Deoband. His brother was Shabbir Ahmad Usmani.
Zafeeruddin Miftāhi was an Indian Muslim scholar and jurist who served as a Mufti of Darul Uloom Deoband and the second president of Islamic Fiqh Academy. He compiled the religious verdicts of Azizur Rahman Usmani, called the Fatāwa Darul Uloom Deoband in twelve volumes and wrote books including Islām Ka Nizām-e-Masājid, Islām Ka Nizām Iffat-o-Asmat and Tārīkh-e-Masājid.
Mazār-e-Qāsmi, also Qabristān-e-Qāsmi is a cemetery located in the premises of Darul Uloom Deoband where notable Deobandi scholars are buried.
Abul Kalam Qasmi was an Indian scholar, literary critic, and a poet of the Urdu language who served as the dean of the Faculty of Arts at the Aligarh Muslim University. He was the editor of Tehzeeb-ul-Akhlaq and authored books such as The Criticism of Poetry. He translated E. M. Forster's Aspects of the Novel into Urdu as Novel ka Fun. He was conferred with the Sahitya Akademi Award in 2009, and the Ghalib Award in 2013.
Majma-ul-Uloom Al-Islamia (MUI) is an educational board jointly established by Jamiat-ur-Rasheed and Jamia Binoria. It was founded on 10 May 2021. The board is officially approved by the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training and the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.

He was an alumnus of Jamia Ashrafia and the Islamic University of Madinah. He reportedly issued over a hundred thousand religious edicts and authored about three dozen books on hadith, mysticism, jurisprudence and tafsir.
Muhammad Saeed Khan is a Pakistani Islamic scholar and founder of Al-Nadwah Educational Trust, in Islamabad, Pakistan. He participated in the 1995 Pakistani coup d'état attempt and edited journals including Al-Nadwah and Al-Manad. He is a member of the core-committee of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
Muhammadullah Khalili Qasmi is an Indian Islamic scholar, mufti, writer, and trilingual translator of Urdu, Arabic, and English. He is an alumnus of Darul Uloom Deoband, Markazul Maarif, Jamia Millia Islamia, Maulana Azad National Urdu University, and Jamia Hamdard; and has written several books in English, Urdu, and Arabic.
