Jamie Miller (born 9 September 1997) is a Welsh singer and musician currently based in Los Angeles. He was featured on The Voice UK in 2017, where he came in third place. [2] [3] In 2020, he signed a record deal with Atlantic Records and has released an EP called Broken Memories in April 2022. [4] He is currently signed under BMG and working on his debut album. [5]

Early life

Miller was born in Cardiff to Scottish parents and grew up in Pontprennau in the north of the city. [6] He has two sisters. [7] Miller attended St Bernadette’s Primary School, where he started singing, and Corpus Christi High School, both Roman Catholic. [8] He left school at age 16 and briefly worked in a call centre.

Career

2017: Early beginnings and The Voice UK

Miller initially auditioned to appear on the X Factor , but was unsuccessful. He then tried to pursue music again by applying and auditioning to be on the sixth series of The Voice UK . [9] [10] During the given series' blind auditions, he spun two chairs and chose Jennifer Hudson over Gavin Rossdale as his coach. He advanced through the competition and ultimately finished in third place. [11]

2017-2020: Post–Voice career and major label debut

Miller produced covers of songs ranging from Adele to Lewis Capaldi, which were promoted by Khloé Kardashian on her Instagram. [12] This prompted Atlantic Records to offer him a recording contract. Since then, he has played in various concerts, including The Globe, [13] and performed in various venues [13] before moving to Los Angeles. [14]

2020-2022: Breakthrough with Here's Your Perfect,Broken Memories, and touring

Under Atlantic, he wrote and released original songs ("The City That Never Sleeps", "Onto Something", "Hold You 'Til We're Old" and "Here's Your Perfect") and co-wrote Paloma Faith's song "Loyal". [15] Jesse McCartney invited Miller to open up for him for his The New Stage tour around the United States. [16] He also served as the opening act during the North American leg of Calum Scott's "Bridges" World Tour in the summer of 2022. [17] [18] On both of the tours, he debuted his EP, Broken Memories, and it was well received by fans.

2023-2024: The Things I Left Unsaid

On 4 May 2023, Miller departed from Atlantic Records and announced, via Instagram, his new label partnership with BMG along with a new management deal. He premiered his single, Maybe Next Time, on 10 May. His second EP, The Things I Left Unsaid, was released on 4 October. [19]

Miller supported Eric Nam on his House On a Hill Tour. [20]

On 20 February 2024, Miller announced his first headline tour around different cities in Europe and USA. [21]

Personal life

Miller came out as bisexual in March 2021 via TikTok. [22] [23]

She started her career by getting signed by Nvak Collective and releasing her debut single "King" with Kiiara in 2021. In 2022, Linn represented her country in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin, Italy with the song "Snap" and finished in 20th place. Following the contest, the song went viral on TikTok and charted globally; earning her a recording contract with Columbia Records. Her debut EP, Lay Your Hands Upon My Heart, was released on 22 June 2023.

Jacob Dodge Lawson,, known professionally as Jvke, is an American singer-songwriter, producer, and social media personality. During the COVID-19 lockdowns, he started creating TikTok videos for his songs, one of which, "Upside Down", went viral in 2021. His debut album, This Is What ____ Feels Like (2022), peaked at number 40 on the Billboard 200, while the song "Golden Hour" peaked at number 10 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Eleri Ward is an American singer-songwriter, guitarist, and actress, best known for her Sufjan Stevens-inspired indie folk renditions of the works of composer Stephen Sondheim. Since garnering attention with covers posted to Instagram and TikTok, Ward has released two albums in this vein, A Perfect Little Death (2021) and Keep a Tender Distance (2022), both on Sh-K-Boom Records' Ghostlight imprint, as well as two self-released pop EPs, Prism (2020) and Friction (2021). In summer 2022, she toured with singer Josh Groban. As a stage actress, she has performed in productions for The Muny and MCC Theater.
