Janet Elizabeth Haworth is a Welsh Conservative politician who was a Member of the Welsh Assembly (AM) for the North Wales Region between 2015 and 2016.
Haworth ran a guest house from 2005 with her partner,Dennis Oliver. [3] She worked for Shell in Aberdeenshire until she retired to Llandudno in about 2003, [4] and became a town and county councillor. [3]
At the May 2011 election to the National Assembly for Wales,she was in third place on the Conservative list for the North Wales region. The Conservatives won two seats,which meant that Haworth was not elected. [5] Antoinette Sandbach,who held one of the two Conservative list seats,was elected to the House of Commons at the 2015 general election. Sandbach announced her resignation from the National Assembly on 8 May 2015. [6] As the next available candidate on the party list from 2011,Haworth succeeded her as an assembly member. [6] She resigned as a Councillor in October 2015 after facing criticisms for her lack of attendance in council meetings following her appointment as an Assembly Member. [7]
Haworth was defeated at the 2016 Assembly election.
Laura Anne Jones is a Conservative politician who has been the Member of the Senedd (MS) for the South Wales East electoral region since July 2020,having previously held the same seat as an Assembly Member (AM) in the National Assembly for Wales between 2003 and 2007. Jones also served as a county councillor for the Wyesham ward in Monmouthshire County Council from 2017 to 2022.

North Wales is an electoral region of the Senedd,consisting of nine constituencies. The region elects thirteen members,nine directly elected constituency members and four additional members. The electoral region was first used in the 1999 Welsh Assembly election,when the National Assembly for Wales was created.

Susan Lesley Griffiths,known as Lesley Griffiths,is a Welsh Labour politician serving as Cabinet Secretary for Culture and Social Justice since 2024. She previously served as Trefnydd of the Senedd and Minister for North Wales from 2021 to 2024,and Minister for Rural Affairs from 2016 to 2024. She worked as a secretary to John Marek and the constituency assistant to Ian Lucas,successive Members of Parliament for Wrexham,and was elected to the Senedd from the Wrexham constituency in 2007. She has held a number of cabinet positions in the Welsh Government. In December 2009 she was appointed Deputy Minister for Science,Innovation and Skills.
Mark John Reckless is a British lawyer and former politician who served as a Member of the Senedd (MS) for South Wales East from 2016 until 2021,having previously served as Member of Parliament (MP) for Rochester and Strood from 2010 to 2015. Initially a member of the Conservative Party,he crossed the floor to join the UK Independence Party (UKIP) in September 2014. He has since changed parties a further three times.
Veronica Kathleen German,Baroness German is a Welsh Liberal Democrat politician who was a Member of the Welsh Assembly (AM) for the South Wales East region between 2010 and 2011.

Mandy Jones is a British former politician and farmer who was a Member of the Senedd (MS) for North Wales from 2017 to 2021. Jones was elected for the UK Independence Party (UKIP) but sat as an independent politician within the Senedd from early January 2018 until May 2019,when she joined the Brexit Party. In October 2020 she joined the Independent Alliance for Reform group.

Her father Mohammad Asghar represented the same constituency until his death in 2020. She is the first female ethnic minority member of the Senedd. She was named as one of the BBC's 100 Women in 2021. She stood for the Conservative Party's nomination for Mayor of London in the 2024 mayoral election,but was not shortlisted.
