Lifelines Option

  1. Backup - In the option, the player will choose the either one or two backups to help sing the difficult lyrics.
  2. Open 2 lyrics - The player will give his or her chance to open two lyrics to look if the lyrics were correct.
  3. Objective - The player will choose the either three objective forms which contains different lyrics.

New concept season 2

  1. From the first episode of the second season, the player will have one unprofessional singer from either Friend or Family and one professional singer which is the show's guest appearance.

It was devised by Fintan Coyle and Cathy Dunning and developed for television by the BBC Entertainment Department. Pointless is a British television quiz show produced by Banijay for the BBC. It is hosted by Alexander Armstrong with assistance from Richard Osman. In each episode four teams of two contestants attempt to find correct but obscure answers to four rounds of general knowledge questions, with the winning team eligible to compete for the show's cash jackpot. All questions used on the show are factual in nature, and are asked of a panel of 100 individuals in a pre-conducted public survey. Contestants seek to find correct answers that were given by as few of the survey subjects as possible ("points"); each round is won by the team with the fewest points. "Pointless" answers, given by nobody, score zero points, the best score. Don't Forget the Lyrics! is an international game show in the United States and United Kingdom. The American show originally aired on Fox from July 11, 2007 to June 19, 2009 and after a year off the air, a third overall season, and first as a syndicated show, began on June 15, 2010 in daytime syndication and in primetime on VH1 and in primetime on MyNetworkTV on October 5, 2010. On March 24, 2011, the show was canceled. The show has spun off to numerous countries outside America using different top prize or game format. The primary difference between Don't Forget the Lyrics! and other music-based game shows is that artistic talent is irrelevant to the contestants' chances of winning. In the words of one of their commercials prior to the first airing, "You don't have to sing it well; you just have to sing it right."

Don't Forget the Lyrics! is the Singaporean version of the international game show Don't Forget the Lyrics!.
