Janq'u Qalani (Aymara janq'u white, qala stone, [2] -ni a suffix, "the one with the white stone", also spelled Jankho Khalani) is a mountain in the Bolivian Andes which reaches a height of approximately 4,200 m (13,800 ft). It is located in the La Paz Department, Pacajes Province, Coro Coro Municipality. Janq'u Qalani lies on the bank of the Ch'alla Jawira ("sand river"). [1] [3]

Aymara language native language in South America

Aymara is an Aymaran language spoken by the Aymara people of the Andes. It is one of only a handful of Native American languages with over one million speakers. Aymara, along with Spanish, is one of the official languages of Bolivia and parts of Peru. It is also spoken, to a much lesser extent, by some communities in northern Chile, where it is a recognized minority language.

Ñuñu Qullu is a 4,508-metre-high (14,790 ft) mountain in the Andes of Bolivia. It is situated in the Oruro Department, Pantaleón Dalence Province, Huanuni Municipality. Ñuñu Qullu lies north-west of the mountain Ch'iyara Ch'ankha and near the mountain Janq'u Qalani, south-west of it.

Wiluyu Janq'u Uma or Wiluyu is a mountain in the Cordillera Real in the Andes of Bolivia, about 5,540 metres (18,176 ft) high. It is located in the La Paz Department, Larecaja Province, Sorata Municipality. It lies northwest of the mountain Yapuchañani, northeast of Misk'i T'ant'a and Uma Jalanta and east of Illampu.

Jacha Qullu (Loayza)

Jach'a Qullu is a 4,390-metre-high (14,403 ft) mountain in the Bolivian Andes. It is located in the La Paz Department, Loayza Province, Malla Municipality. Jach'a Qullu is situated south-west of the mountains Wila Willk'i, Malla Qullu and Janq'u Qalani (Jankho Khalani). It lies west of Malla. The river Jach'a K'uchu Jawira flows along the northern slopes of Jach'a Qullu.
