The Japanese University Network in the Bay Area (JUNBA) is a network among Japanese university offices in the Bay Area. The mission of JUNBA is to assist the enhancement of education and research activities and the creation of new businesses for Japanese universities. [1]

Seijo University

Seijo University is a private university in Seijo, Setagaya-ku, Tokyo, Japan. It is operated by the Seijo Gakuen institute. Seijo University has its origins in Seijo Gakuen (成城学園), which was founded in 1917 by Dr. Masataro Sawayanagi, a former Minister of Education. Under the pre-World War II education system it was called ‘Seijo Higher School’. It became Seijo University in 1950. Seijo University ranked in the group of universities with Seikei University, Meiji Gakuin University in Tokyo. The admission rate range is 20-30% making this Japanese higher education organization a very selective institution. The Top Global University Project is a funding project by the Japanese government that began in 2014.
