Jason David Lee (born 21 May 1970) [1] ) is an English field hockey coach and former international player. Lee was born at Hayes in Greater London and played hockey at Old Bordenians Hockey Club in Sittingbourne in Kent. [2]
As a player, he won 82 caps for England and 35 for Great Britain, scoring 35 goals. He played in the 1992 and 1996 Summer Olympics, but retired after the 1998 World Cup to take up coaching. [3]
Lee started coaching for England men from 2003 and Great Britain men from 2004. His squads competed at three successive Olympic Games (2004, 2008 and 2012), and took England to their first ever European title, at the 2009 EuroHockey Nations Championship. [3] He stood down after the 2012 Summer Olympics in order to start coaching the England women's squad.
Lee led the England men's team from 11th to 4th in the FIH World Rankings and also took the England women's team to a World Ranking high of 3rd, after achieving a silver medal with them in the 2013 European Nations, losing to Germany on penalties in the final. He stood down from coaching England and Great Britain in 2014. [4] He was a Head Coach for England and GB for eleven years, GB's longest ever serving international head coach.
Lee has played club hockey for Loughborough and East Grinstead. [5] [6] He was named in Loughborough University's Sporting Hall of Fame in 2010 alongside greats such as Lord Sebastian Coe. He is also a member of UKSport's Elite Coach alumni.
Lee works in human performance for business and sport and is known as an experienced and knowledgeable person in leadership, teams and organizational performance.
Barry John Middleton is regarded as one of the greatest British field hockey players in history. He played as a midfielder and forward for England and Great Britain and is the most capped British hockey player in history and captained his country for many years.

The Great Britain men's national field hockey team represents the United Kingdom in Olympic field hockey tournaments. The team won gold at the 1920 Summer Olympics in Antwerp and the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul. The team won the 2017 Sultan Azlan Shah Cup.

Great Britain and Northern Ireland, represented by the British Olympic Association (BOA), competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, United Kingdom, from 27 July to 12 August 2012 as the host nation and the team of selected athletes was officially known as Team GB. British athletes have competed at every Summer Olympic Games in the modern era, alongside Australia, France and Greece, though Great Britain is the only one to have won at least one gold medal at all of them. Iain Lewers is a field hockey player from Northern Ireland who represented Ireland, England and Great Britain at international level. He represented Great Britain at the 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics. He was also a member the England teams that won bronze medals at the 2011 Men's EuroHockey Nations Championship and 2014 Commonwealth Games. He also represented England at the 2013 and 2015 Men's EuroHockey Nations Championships and at the 2014 Men's Hockey World Cup. In both 2014 and 2015 Lewers was named the England/Great Britain Player of the Year by the Hockey Writers' Club.

Danny Kerry MBE is an English international field hockey coach. He was the head coach for the England and Great Britain Men's teams from September 2018 until January 2022. He had previously been Head Coach for the England and Great Britain Women's teams from 2005 to 2012 and 2014 to 2018. During this tenure the national teams medalled at Commonwealth, European, World and Olympic level. Kerry was voted Team GB coach of the year in 2016 following the Rio Olympic Games, and awarded the Sam Musabini medal by UK Coaching.

Mark Gleghorne is a field hockey player from Northern Ireland who has represented Ireland, England and Great Britain at international level. He represented Great Britain at the 2016 Summer Olympics. Gleghorne was a member of the England teams that won the bronze medals at the 2014 and 2018 Commonwealth Games and at the 2017 Men's EuroHockey Nations Championship. He also represented England at the 2014 and 2018 Men's Hockey World Cups. At club level, Gleghorne was a member of the Instonians team that won the Irish Senior Cup in both 2002 and 2004. He was also a member of the Punjab Warriors team that won the 2016 Hockey India League title. Gleghorne is a member of a family of field hockey internationals. His younger brother, Paul, is an Ireland international. Two of his aunts, Margaret Gleghorne and Jackie McWilliams, were also Ireland and Great Britain women's internationals.
