Jasper Taekwan Cho (born February 12, 1986) is a Canadian actor and art director based in South Korea. He gained attention through his roles in television series Descendants of the Sun (2016) and Man Who Dies to Live (2017). [1]

Descendants of the Sun is a 2016 South Korean television series starring Song Joong-ki, Song Hye-kyo, Jin Goo, and Kim Ji-won. It aired on KBS2 from February 24 to April 14, 2016, for 16 episodes. KBS then aired three additional special episodes from April 20 to April 22, 2016, containing highlights and the best scenes from the series, the drama's production process, behind-the-scenes footage, commentaries from cast members and the final epilogue.

Vanishing Time: A Boy Who Returned is a 2016 South Korean fantasy film written and directed by Um Tae-hwa and starring Gang Dong-won and Shin Eun-soo. This is the second feature film by Um Tae-hwa. The idea of the film was strongly influenced by the sinking of MV Sewol which occurred in 2014. Um explained that after the Sewol disaster, the government tried to hide the truth, and therefore he decided to shoot a film where the main theme of which is a search for truth.

The Princess and the Matchmaker is a 2018 South Korean period romantic comedy-drama film directed by Hong Chang-pyo. The film stars Shim Eun-kyung, Lee Seung-gi, Kim Sang-kyung, Yeon Woo-jin, Kang Min-hyuk, Choi Woo-shik and Jo Bok-rae. The film tells story of a saju expert, Seo Do-yoon, who received an order from the King to help him pick a husband for his daughter, Princess Song-hwa, based on their fortune. It is the second installment of Jupiter Film's three-part film project on the Korean fortune-telling traditions, following The Face Reader which was released in 2013 and followed by Feng Shui later in 2018.
