Campus Of Jat Education Society, Rohtak is located on Eastern side of Rohtak, near Delhi by pass, next to MDU Rohtak. Its campus consists of 11 separate entities, hostels, playgrounds and parks. [3] [4]
Sir Chhotu Ram was a prominent politician in British India's Punjab Province, an ideologue of the pre-Independent India, who belonged to the Jat community and championed the interest of oppressed communities of the Indian subcontinent. For this feat, he was knighted in 1937. On the political front, he was a co-founder of the National Unionist Party which ruled the United Punjab Province in pre-independent India and kept Congress and Muslim League at bay. In 1916, he brought out a weekly newspaper named Jat Gazette, which is still being published today.
Rohtak is a city and the administrative headquarters of the Rohtak district in the Indian state of Haryana. It lies 70 kilometres (43 mi) north-west of New Delhi and 250 kilometres (160 mi) south of the state capital Chandigarh on NH 9(old NH 10). Rohtak forms a part of the National Capital Region (NCR) which helps the city in obtaining cheap loans for infrastructure development from the NCR Planning Board.
Seth Chhaju Ram Lamba (1861–1943) was a Jat tycoon from Bhiwani district of then Punjab and made a fortune in Calcutta during the British Raj period. A philanthropist, he undertook many social improvement projects. He financed the higher studies of Sir Chhotu Ram.

Deepender Singh Hooda is an Indian politician and four-term MP from the Indian National Congress, who is the current Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha representing Haryana. He also served three terms as Member of Parliament in Lok Sabha from Rohtak (2005–2019). He is a special invitee to the Congress Working Committee, the highest decision making body of the Indian National Congress.

Handball Association India (HAI), formerly Handball Federation of India, is the governing body for handball in India. HFI is registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 at Rohtak. HAI is a member of the Asian Handball Federation (AHF) and the International Handball Federation (IHF) since 1974. It is also a member of Commonwealth Handball Association and South Asian Handball Federation. HFI was founded by Jagat Singh Lohan, a Jat from Rohtak (Haryana) who was an alumnus of YMCA College of Physical Education of Madras. He was also the first secretary general of HFI.
