Jawaid Iqbal is an Indian academic who is the Vice-Chancellor of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Rajouri J&K since November 2024. [1] He was formerly Acting Vice-Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU),Dean of the Faculty of International Studies,and Chair of departments of West Asian and North African Studies,South African and Brazilian Studies,and Foreign Languages at AMU. [2] He has been part of the AMU Court,Executive Council,and Academic Council,as well as various Boards of Studies and Advisory Committees. [3] [4]
Iqbal holds a Ph.D. and M.Phil. in International Studies from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). [5] He has mentored doctoral and post-doctoral scholars,focusing on International Relations,Conflict Resolution,and Peace Studies. [6]

University of Ilorin (UNILORIN),is a federal government-owned public research university in Ilorin,Kwara State,Nigeria. Masud Choudhary was an Indian educator,social reformer,thinker and an administrator of Jammu and Kashmir union territory. He was the founding Vice Chancellor of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University in Rajouri,J&K. He was also the Chief Patron of the Muslim Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust. Choudhary served in the police and retired as the Additional Director of the General Police (IPS) in 2004.

Prof Gulrez was the Consultant/Researcher,Good Governance (Component) for the Poverty Reduction Strategy Paper (PRSP) Project,Govt. of Rwanda (2002). Prof Gulrez is also on the International Advisory Board,Asian Review Institute of Asian Studies,Chulalongkorn University,Bangkok,Thailand. He is also the Member of Academic Forum,Asia Pacific Observatory,Montevideo,Uruguay. Olanrewaju Adigun Fagbohun SAN is a Nigerian lawyer,academic,author,investor,professor of environmental law,regulations,and a Senior Advocate of Nigeria. He served as the 8th substantive vice-chancellor of Lagos State University between 11 January 2016 to 10 January 2021. His administration as LASU's vice chancellor witnessed tremendous gains in research,innovations and infrastructural development –which helped to propel the university from obscurity to the second best university in Nigeria according to the 2021 Times Higher Education ranking. He was appointed by the governor of Lagos State,Akinwunmi Ambode to succeed professor John Obafunwa,a Nigerian pathologist whose tenure ended on 31 October 2015. His appointment was lauded by the Lagos State University chapter of the Academic Staff Union of Universities. The association through the chapter chairman pledge their full support for good administration.

He had served as the Dean of Academic Affairs at the University of Kashmir. He has a MSc from Aligarh Muslim University and a PhD from the Indian Institute of Toxicology Research. He remained associated with the Department of Biochemistry at the University of Kashmir as a member of the faculty since 1988. He was appointed Vice-Chancellor of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University in February 2021.
