Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) is a public agricultural university in Mymensingh,Bangladesh. It was founded in 1961 by the Pakistani government as East Pakistan Agricultural University. It is the third-oldest university in the country.
Lagos State University,popularly known as LASU,is a Lagos state government-owned university established in 1983. Its main campus is situated at Ojo,with sub-campuses at Ikeja and Epe. The university was set up "for the advancement of learning and establishment of academic excellence". The university caters to over 35,000 students. The university was established during the administration of Late Lateef Kayode Jakande. The university offers diploma,degree and post graduate programmes,including an MBA programme. LASU was ranked among the top 600 universities in the world by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings for 2020. On 23 June 2021,LASU emerged as the best young university in Nigeria having been below the age of 50 years to be added. Times Higher Education ranked the Lagos State University as the second best university in Nigeria on 2 September 2020,and was the only state university included in the rankings for 2022. The university has attracted international funding,including for the establishment of a World Bank Group Africa Centre for Excellence on Science,Technology,Engineering,and Mathematics.
Dhaka University of Engineering &Technology,Gazipur,commonly known as DUET,formerly BIT Dhaka,is a public engineering and technological research university in Gazipur,Bangladesh,which focuses on the study of engineering and architecture. It is one of the top PhD granting research universities of Bangladesh. The university requires diploma engineers candidates,graduated from polytechnic institutes or technical schools affiliated by the Bangladesh Technical Education Board for under-graduation enrollment.
Adam Mahomed Habib is a South African academic administrator serving as Director of the School of Oriental and African Studies,University of London since 1 January 2021. He served as Vice-Chancellor and Principal of the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits) in Johannesburg,South Africa,between 1 June 2013,when the term of his predecessor Loyiso Nongxa ended,and 1 January 2021. He is also a former deputy vice-chancellor of the University of Johannesburg.
University of Ilorin (UNILORIN),is a federal government-owned public research university in Ilorin,Kwara State,Nigeria. The university's main campus sits on an expansive area of land,about 15,000 hectares in the ancient city of Ilorin;making it the largest university in Nigeria and one of the largest in Africa by landmass. The university comprises 16 faculties and over 100 academic departments offering 103 programmes. It was established by a decree of the Federal Military Government of Nigeria in August,1975. It is reported by Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) to be the most sought-after Nigerian university in 2021. And again in 2023,and also in 2024,it was announced by the JAMB Head,Professor Ishaq Oloyede to be the sought-after University,for the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME),making it for the 10th consecutive year.
Masud Choudhary was an Indian educator,social reformer,thinker and an administrator of Jammu and Kashmir union territory. He was the founding Vice Chancellor of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University in Rajouri,J&K. He was also the Chief Patron of the Muslim Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust. Choudhary served in the police and retired as the Additional Director of the General Police (IPS) in 2004.

Before that,he served as Vice Chancellor of Jamia Millia Islamia,he resigned from the post a few months short of his full term. He was shortlisted by a committee constituted by the governor to shortlist a panel for the post. He had earlier taken over as Vice-Chancellor of University of Kashmir from Professor Riyaz Punjabi on 1 June 2011 and served there until the year 2014. Prior to this,he was teaching Geology at the University of Delhi.

Previously,on 2 April 2023,Prof Gulrez took over the charge as officiating Vice Chancellor of the Aligarh Muslim University and served there till 22 April 2024. He has also served as Dean,Faculty of International Studies,Director,Centre for South African &Brazilian Studies &Coordinator for Conflict Resolution &Peace Studies Programme at Aligarh Muslim University. Prof Gulrez was on a Deputation from Indian Council for Cultural Relations,Ministry of External Affairs,Govt of India for a period of 6 months to the India Chair at University of Colombo,Sri Lanka from July 2017 to December 2017. From January 1999 to January 2004,he worked as visiting Faculty,Department of Political and Administrative Sciences at the National University of Rwanda,Central Africa. Prof Gulrez was the Consultant/Researcher,Good Governance (Component) for the Poverty Reduction Strategy Paper (PRSP) Project,Govt. of Rwanda (2002). Prof Gulrez is also on the International Advisory Board,Asian Review Institute of Asian Studies,Chulalongkorn University,Bangkok,Thailand. He is also the Member of Academic Forum,Asia Pacific Observatory,Montevideo,Uruguay. Olanrewaju Adigun Fagbohun SAN is a Nigerian lawyer,academic,author,investor,professor of environmental law,regulations,and a Senior Advocate of Nigeria. He served as the 8th substantive vice-chancellor of Lagos State University between 11 January 2016 to 10 January 2021. His administration as LASU's vice chancellor witnessed tremendous gains in research,innovations and infrastructural development –which helped to propel the university from obscurity to the second best university in Nigeria according to the 2021 Times Higher Education ranking. He was appointed by the governor of Lagos State,Akinwunmi Ambode to succeed professor John Obafunwa,a Nigerian pathologist whose tenure ended on 31 October 2015. His appointment was lauded by the Lagos State University chapter of the Academic Staff Union of Universities. The association through the chapter chairman pledge their full support for good administration.

He had served as the Dean of Academic Affairs at the University of Kashmir. He has a MSc from Aligarh Muslim University and a PhD from the Indian Institute of Toxicology Research. He remained associated with the Department of Biochemistry at the University of Kashmir as a member of the faculty since 1988. He was appointed Vice-Chancellor of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University in February 2021.

Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University is a technical university,located c. 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) outside Rajouri city in the Jammu division of the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. It is a state university that is regulated by the University Grants Commission,and a member of the Association of Indian Universities. The vice-chancellor,Jawaid Iqbal,was appointed in November 2024.
