Jean-Paul Fung (born 6 November 1988) is an Australian producer, mixer, musician and songwriter who has worked on multiple award-winning records.

Fung learned how to play the piano, guitar, bass guitar and drums at a young age. Throughout his teenage years he played in punk rock, hardcore and folk music bands.

In November 2009, at the now-defunct BJB Studios, Fung was hired as in-house assistant by Australian producer Scott Horscroft. He was later promoted to in-house audio engineer, shortly followed by in-house producer.

Following the closure of BJB Studios in September 2011, Fung moved to freelance work.

In late 2010, he produced and engineered a single for young Brisbane band Last Dinosaurs. Their single Time & Place has received high rotation on Triple J. [1] In 2011, the band again worked with Fung on their debut full-length album In A Million Years , [2] which debuted at No. 8 on ARIA Charts and No. 2 on ARIA digital charts. [3] [4]

In 2013 Jean-Paul signed a publishing deal with Alberts, [5] later bought out by BMG. [6] [ circular reference ]

Cassette Kids are a Sydney-based band formed in 2007. They won the Unearthed Sydney 2008 Big Day Out competition and were nominated for a 2008 Unearthed J Award. Another song, "Acrobat", was on high rotation on Triple J. In October 2008 they released their debut mini album We Are. Glass Towers are an Australian indie rock band based in Sydney, New South Wales. The original lineup of lead vocalist and guitarist Benjamin Hannam, bassist Cameron Holdstock, drummer Daniel Muszynski and guitarist Sam Speck met and formed in a music class at Alstonville High School in 2008. Glass Towers' debut album "Halcyon Days" was released in Australia and New Zealand on 5 July 2013, and released in the United States on 17 June 2014. The band consists of Sean Caskey, Lachlan Caskey, Danjuro Koyama (Drums) and Michael Sloane (Bass). Koyama and the Caskey brothers are all of Japanese descent, and the band have toured and frequently make visits to Japan. The band formed with Sean and Dan upon meeting each other during High School and realising they had an equal passion for music.
