Jean Cedric Paul (born 13 November 1985) is a Dominican former cricketer who played for Dominica,Windward Islands and the West Indies A cricket team. [1] [2]
Paul was born on Dominica in 1985. [2] He played under-19 cricket for Dominica,winning the Windward Islands under-19 competition with the side in 2003, [3] and for the Windward Islands under-19 side before making his debut for the senior Windward islands side in February 2005. His debut came in a Carib Beer Cup match against Trinidad and Tobago at Guaracara Park,his only appearance for the senior side during the 2004/05 season. [2] He went on to play in a total of seven first-class matches for the Windward Islands,two the following season and four in 2006/07. [1] He played his only List A match in July 2005 for West Indies A against Sri Lanka A on the West Indies A team's tour of Sri Lanka. [2] Paul had been called into the tour as a replacement,one of seven after players on the A team tour had been called into the West Indies squad. [4] In 2006 he played his only Twenty20 cricket match,a first-round tie for Dominica in the Stanford Twenty20 tournament against Grenada. [2] He played one more match for Dominica,an unclassified Twenty20 match against St Lucia in 2011,taking two wickets. [1]
Predominantly a right-arm medium pace bowler,Paul took 15 wickets in his seven first-class matches,at a bowling average of 33.53 runs per wicket;his best bowling figures of 4/52 were taken on debut. [2] [5] He did not take any wickets in either his List A or Twenty20 matches. [2]
Fidel Henderson Edwards is a Barbadian cricketer,who played all formats of the game. A pace bowler,his round-arm action is "not unlike" that of former fast bowler Jeff Thomson but similar to the bowling action of Lasith Malinga of Sri Lanka. He was spotted in the nets by Brian Lara and was called up for his Test debut against Sri Lanka after just one match for Barbados. Edwards was a member of the West Indies team that won the 2012 T20 World Cup.
Dwayne John Bravo is a former Trinidadian cricketer,a former captain of the West Indies cricket team and the current bowling coach of Chennai Super Kings. A right arm seam bowling all-rounder,Bravo is well known for his aggressive lower-order batting and for his bowling in the final overs of a match. During his prime,he was regarded as one of the best death bowlers in T20 Cricket. He also performs as a singer.
Devon Sheldon Smith is a former cricketer who featured as an opening or top order left-handed batsman. He played for the West Indies and for the Windward Islands in regional tournaments. Smith is also,with a sum of 11,321 runs,the highest runscorer in the history of West Indian first class cricket competitions.
Adam Sanford is a former professional cricketer who played eleven Test matches for the West Indies between 2002 and 2004. He later qualified for the U.S. national team,playing three Twenty20 fixtures for them in 2013.
Daren Julius Garvey Sammy is a Saint Lucian cricketer who played international cricket for the West Indies. He is currently serving as the head coach of the West Indies cricket team in limited overs cricket. On making his One-Day International (ODI) debut against Bangladesh in 2004,Sammy became the first person from the island of St Lucia to play international cricket. Three years later he made his Test debut against England,taking 7/66 which were the best bowling figures for a West Indian in his first Test since Alf Valentine in 1950. Under his captaincy West Indies win the 2012 and 2016 ICC WorldTwenty20. He is the only captain to win the T20 World Cup twice. He was also a member of the West Indies team that won the 2004 ICC Champions Trophy.
The Combined Islands cricket team was a cricket team that represented the cricket-playing islands of the Lesser Antilles,excluding Barbados and Trinidad and Tobago who fielded their own teams. They played in 13 Shell Shield tournaments from 1965–66 to 1980–81,when they won their first title and were subsequently disbanded into Leeward Islands and Windward Islands. Those two teams had first-class status before 1980–81,but competed together in the Shell Shield.
Andre Fletcher is a Grenadian cricketer who plays internationally for the West Indies. He is a right-handed batsman and often keeps wicket. He played domestic cricket for Windward Islands and Grenada. He was one of the few international cricketers to have come from Grenada. Fletcher was a member of the West Indies team that won the 2016 T20 World Cup.
Shane Shillingford,is a West Indian cricketer who plays first-class and List A cricket for the Windward Islands and Test cricket for the West Indies cricket team. On 4 March 2021 it was announced that Shillingford has joined Home Counties Premier League,Division 1 side Buckingham Town.
The Dominica national cricket team represents the country of Dominica in cricket. The team is not a member of the International Cricket Council,but the Dominica Cricket Association is a member of the Windward Islands Cricket Board of Control,which itself is a member association of the West Indies Cricket Board,and players from Dominica generally represent the Windward Islands cricket team at domestic level and the West Indies at international level. Dominica has however played as a separate entity in matches which held Twenty20 status,but has not appeared in first-class or List A cricket. The team's captain,as of December 2013,is Liam Sebastien.

Kesrick Omari Kenal Williams is a Vincentian cricketer who has played for several teams in West Indian domestic cricket. He made his first-class debut in 2011,for the Windward Islands,and later appeared for the Combined Campuses,but rose to prominence only in 2016,when he was the leading wicket-taker for the Jamaica Tallawahs in the 2016 Caribbean Premier League.
Roy Ashworth Marshall is a former Dominican cricketer whose career in top-level West Indian domestic cricket spanned from 1985 to 2008. His primary team was the Windward Islands,but he also played a single season for the Leeward Islands,as well as representing Dominica at the 2006 and 2008 Stanford 20/20 tournaments.
Wayne Phillip is a former Dominican cricketer who represented the Windward Islands and several other teams in West Indian domestic cricket. He played as a wicket-keeper,and batted left-handed.
In 2017,Kent County Cricket Club competed in Division Two of the County Championship,the Royal London One-Day Cup and the NatWest t20 Blast. In addition,before the start of the English cricket season,Kent competed in the 2016–17 Regional Super50,the List A competition of the West Indian domestic season. This was the first time that any English county had competed in an overseas domestic competition. The invitation to take part in the tournament was largely due to the influence of former West Indian captain Jimmy Adams who had been Kent's Head Coach until September 2016.
Obed Christopher McCoy is a Saint Vincent and the Grenadines professional cricketer who plays for the West Indies cricket team internationally. He made his international debut for the West Indies in October 2018.
In 2018,Kent County Cricket Club competed in Division Two of the County Championship,the Royal London One-Day Cup and the 2018 t20 Blast. The county finished second in Division Two of the Championship and were promoted to Division One for the 2019 season. They reached the final of the One-Day Cup. losing to Hampshire at Lord's,and the quarter-final stage of the t20 Blast. In addition,before the start of the English cricket season,Kent competed in the 2017–18 Regional Super50,the List A competition of the West Indies domestic season,reaching the semi-final stage. This was the second time that Kent have competed in the competition,having played in the 2016–17 competition.
