Jeffrey Mark "Jeff" Thomas (born 19 October 1971) is a former Australian cricketer who represented Queensland in Australian domestic cricket as a right-handed opening batsman. He later took up coaching,and served as coach of the Canadian national team from 1999 to 2002.
Born in Toowoomba,Queensland, [1] Thomas made his first-class debut in January 1994,in a Sheffield Shield match against Western Australia. [2] In a Mercantile Mutual Cup game against the same team a few days later,he scored 71 runs from 125 balls opening the batting with Trevor Barsby. [3] He and Stuart Law put on 187 runs for the third wicket,setting a new Queensland List A record. [4] Thomas made another three appearances for Queensland during the 1993–94 season –Shield matches against Tasmania and Victoria,and a Mercantile Mutual Cup fixture against South Australia. [2] [5] He never regained his place in the team,but continued to play for the state second XI for several more seasons. [6]
Beginning in 1995,Thomas served as a player-coach for the Toronto Cricket,Skating and Curling Club,a club in Canada's Toronto and District Cricket Association. In 1999,he was appointed coach of the Canadian national team,with his first tournament in charge being the 1999–2000 Red Stripe Bowl. He also had responsible for the national under-19 team,which he coached at the 2002 Under-19 World Cup. [7] At the 2001 ICC Trophy,Canada placed third to qualify for the 2003 World Cup (their first World Cup in 24 years). However,two months before the event,in December 2002,Thomas was unexpectedly sacked and replaced by Gus Logie. His sacking was said to be the subject of "disharmony between the players and the Canadian Cricket Association", [8] and he went on to sue the Canadian Cricket Association for wrongful dismissal. [9]

Nathan Wade Bracken is a former Australian cricketer. A tall left-arm fast-medium bowler,Bracken is capable of swinging the ball both ways. He has represented Australia in all forms of the game. Bracken represented New South Wales in Australian domestic cricket,Eastern Suburbs in Sydney Grade Cricket and also appeared for English County team Gloucestershire in 2004. On 28 January 2011 he announced his retirement from the game due to a chronic knee injury. On 9 February 2012 it was reported that he sued Cricket Australia over the latter's alleged incompetency in managing his knee injury.

Damien Geoffrey Wright is an Australian cricket coach and former first-class cricketer who coached Hobart Hurricanes cricket team. Wright made his debut for Tasmania in 1997,playing with the team until switching to Victoria for the 2008–09 season. In 2002 he played in the Scottish cricket team as their one permitted overseas player—he also had previous spells in county cricket with Northamptonshire,Glamorgan and Somerset. He is a right-handed batsman and right-arm fast-medium bowler. He has a side-on bowling action and an ability to bounce the ball sharply. Wright started Coaching the Hobart Hurricanes in the Big Bash League 03 in 2013–14,he coached the team to defeat the Melbourne Stars,who were undefeated in the tournament until then. The Hurricanes then lost the final to the Perth Scorchers. Wright then coached the Hurricanes to the semi-finals in the Champions League T20 2014 in India.

Shawn Leonard Flegler is a former Australian cricketer who played domestically for both Queensland and Victoria during the 1990s. Born in Darwin,Northern Territory,Flegler grew up in Queensland,and played for the state at under-17,under-19,colts,and second XI level,as well as attending the Australian Cricket Academy. He made his first-class debut during the 1994–95 Sheffield Shield,playing for Queensland against New South Wales in November 1994 in what was to be his only appearance for the state team. Playing as an all-rounder who bowled slow left-arm orthodox spin,Flegler spent the 1995 and 1996 English cricket seasons playing for the Lowerhouse Cricket Club in the Lancashire League,as the club's designated professional. He scored the most runs and took the most wickets in both of the seasons he spent at the club.
Steven "Steve" Nikitaras is a former professional cricketer who played at Australian domestic level for both New South Wales and Western Australia. A left-arm pace bowler,he went on to play for the Greek national side after the end of his professional career.
Jeremy Michael Allen is a former Australian cricketer. From Perth,Allen represented Western Australia at both under-17 and under-19 level,and played grade cricket for Subiaco–Floreat. A regular player for the state second XI from the early 1990s,he did not make his senior debut until the 1994–95 season,playing a Mercantile Mutual Cup match against Queensland. On debut at the WACA Ground,he took 3/62 from his ten overs to help Western Australia win by a single run. Despite this performance,Allen did not play any further limited-overs matches for Western Australia,with the state fast-bowling attack including established players Sean Cary,Craig Coulson,and Brendan Julian. His only other match at state level came during the 1996–97 season of the Sheffield Shield. In what was to be his only first-class match,he failed to take a wicket against Tasmania,but did score 30 runs batting tenth in Western Australia's second innings. Although he attended the Australian Cricket Academy in 1996,Allen spent the rest of his career in minor competitions.
