Seogwipo is the second-largest city on Jeju Island, settled on a rocky volcanic coastline in the southern part of Jeju Province, South Korea. The design of the stadium which is in the shape of mouth of a volcano is based on Jeju Island's natural volcanic environment and its sea surroundings. The roof of Jeju World Cup Stadium is in the form of nets of traditional fishing boats in Jeju. Jeju hosted several matches of the 2002 FIFA World Cup, after which about 7,000 changeable seats on the upper eastern stand were transferred to the Gangchanghak Practice Stadium, making the total seating capacity in the main stadium 35,657. It also hosted some matches of the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
The Jeju Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Jeju City, Jeju Province, South Korea. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium was used by K League team Jeju United between 2007 and 2010. The stadium has a capacity of 20,053 people and was opened in 1968. The stadium was used for 2017 AFC Champions League round of 16 1st leg match against Urawa Red Diamonds since their regular stadium was used for 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
Jeju Loveland is an outdoor sculpture park which opened in 2004 in Jeju Province, South Korea. The park is themed around sex. It plays sex education films and has 140 sculptures of humans in various sex positions. It also has other elements such as large phallus statues, stone labia, and hands-on exhibits such as a "masturbation-cycle". The park's website describes the location as "a place where love oriented art and eroticism meet".
Gotjawal Forest is a naturally formed forest located on the middle slopes of Halla Mountain, Jeju Island in South Korea. It covers the rocky area of ʻaʻā on Jeju Island off the southwestern coast of South Korea. Due to the geographical feature, the region remains largely undisturbed by people. The Gotjawal Forest is an enclave of the Southern Korea evergreen forests ecoregion, and is a favorite place of the Jeju locals.
Udo, also known as U Island, is the largest of the islands included in Jeju Province. The island is located on the northeast of Seongsan-ri, 3.5 kilometres off the coast of Jeju Island in South Korea. Udo, literally "Cow Island" in Hanja, has this name because of its resemblance of a cow lying down. The whole of Udo is a lava plateau and a fertile flatland where major agricultural products such as sweet potatoes, garlic, and peanuts are produced. There is a parasitic cone, called so'ui meori oreum in native Korean or udubong (牛頭峰) in Hanja, in the southeast.
Seongsan Ilchulbong, also called ‘Sunrise Peak’, is an archetypal tuff cone formed by hydrovolcanic eruptions upon a shallow seabed about 5 thousand years ago. Situated on the eastern seaboard of Jeju Island, south Korea and said to resemble a gigantic ancient castle, this tuff cone is 182 meters high, has a preserved bowl-like crater and also displays diverse inner structures resulting from the sea cliff. These features are considered to be of geologic worth, providing information on eruptive and depositional processes of hydromagmatic volcanoes worldwide as well as past volcanic activity of Seongsan Ilchulbong itself.
The Geomunoreum Lava Tube System is located between Seonheul-ri, Jocheon-eup and Weoljeong-ri, Gujwa-eup, Jeju City, Jeju Province. This lava tube system refers to a series of lava tubes formed by multiple ancient eruptions of basaltic lava flow from the Geomunoreum volcano The flows followed a north-northeast direction for about 13 km, going down to the coastline. It is estimated that the tube system formed between about 100 and 300 thousand years ago.
Altteureu Airfield, also known as Cheju-do No. 2 (K-40) Air Base, was a former Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service and United States Air Force (USAF) air base on southern Jeju Island, South Korea. It was mostly returned to farm land from the late 1960s onwards, though the site is still owned and used to some extent by the Republic of Korea Air Force, in particular a grass airstrip known semi-officially as Alddreu Airport.

King cherry is a rare plant and listed as an endangered species. As of April 2017, 194 king cherry trees were growing around Mt. Halla in Jeju Island. According to Gen-ichi Koidzumi, king cherry is erroneously believed to be discovered by a French missionary Émile Joseph Taquet although what he discovered was a different species.
The Chuja Islands are a group of 42 islands in the Jeju Strait, about halfway between Jejudo and the southern coast of Jeollanamdo. Only four islands are inhabited: Sangchuja, which is connected by a bridge to Hachuja, the largest by area; Hoengang; and Chupo. The Chuja Islands are administered by Jeju City. As of December 31, 2019, the population is 1,733, based on the number of citizen registrations.
