Jemison High School is a secondary school located in Jemison, Alabama, which educates grades 9-12. The school mascot is the Panther. The marching band is the Jemison Blue Regiment Band. There are two concert band groups; the advanced group is the Jemison High School Wind Ensemble and the second group is the Jemison High School Concert Band. JHS has a football team, baseball team, basketball team, archery club, golf team, volleyball and more. JHS boasts an active VEX Robotics team (TSA) as well as an extensive Culinary Arts department.
Chilton County is a county located in the central portion of the U.S. state of Alabama. As of the 2020 census, the population was 45,014. The county seat is Clanton. Its name is in honor of William Parish Chilton, Sr. (1810–1871), a lawyer who became Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court and later represented Montgomery County in the Congress of the Confederate States of America.

Mae Carol Jemison is an American engineer, physician, and former NASA astronaut. She became the first African-American woman to travel into space when she served as a mission specialist aboard the Space Shuttle Endeavour in 1992. Jemison joined NASA's astronaut corps in 1987 and was selected to serve for the STS-47 mission, during which the Endeavour orbited the Earth for nearly eight days on September 12–20, 1992.

Pantego Christian Academy (PCA) is a private Christian school in Tarrant County, Texas, United States. Its main campus, the Arlington Campus, has a building at 2201 West Park Row Drive in Arlington and a 57,000-square-foot (5,300 m2) high school building at 2221 West Park Row Drive in Pantego.
