Jenesaispop, also known as JNSP, is an online Spanish independent news and reviews website focused on pop music, although it is also dedicated to films, TV series, books and comics. It was founded in 2006 by nine friends, including various journalists, who wanted to dignify pop music through recommendations of non-mainstream records. It has been referred to as the most-read independent music website in Spain as of 2020, year in which they published their first book.

Jenesaispop was founded in 2006 by nine friends, including various journalists, who had their respective personal blogs and wanted to dignify pop music through an online fanzine with recommendations of songs that they considered were not receiving the exposure they deserved. [1] [2] They consider themselves "a pop music media above all" that endorses music "that anyone would like". [1] It started doing well around 2010, [1] when it had over 150,000 unique monthly visitors, [3] and is the most-read independent music website in Spain as of 2020, according to Vogue magazine. [2] In 2020, Jenesaispop celebrated its 15th anniversary by publishing its first book, Un Viaje Por 200 Discos Clave del Siglo XXI (Spanish for A Journey Through... 200 Key Records of the 21st Century), written by the website's director, Sebas E. Alonso. [2] [4]

The staff of Jenesaispop have interviewed numerous international celebrities, including Madonna, [5] Clean Bandit, [6] and Mon Laferte. [7]

Canción Animal is the fifth album released by the Argentine rock band Soda Stereo, released in September 1990. Many of the songs on the album are among the band's most popular, such as one of their biggest hits "De Música Ligera", the last song played in Soda Stereo's last concert in 1997, "Hombre al agua", "Un Millón de Años Luz", "Te para tres" and others. It is considered one of the best and most influential albums in the history of Latin American rock music. The anthemic status of the album, and specifically "De Música Ligera", is perhaps due to the band's ability to tap into a feeling experienced by almost every Spanish-speaking nation of going from dictatorship to freedom at some point during the 20th century. Many regard it as the best album to ever come out of South America. In 2007, the Argentine edition of Rolling Stone ranked it 9 on its list of "The 100 Greatest Albums of National Rock". The album sold 500,000 copies in Argentina alone.

Mexican recording artist Luis Miguel has released 21 studio albums, 30 compilation albums, three extended plays (EP) two live albums, two soundtrack albums and five box set. Luis Miguel has sold over 60 million records, making him one of the best-selling Latin music artists of all time. Luis Miguel is also the artist with the second-most number ones on the Billboard Top Latin Albums chart with nine albums. At the age of 11, he released his debut studio album, Un Sol (1982), which was certified platinum and gold in Mexico. The album features live covers of José Alfredo Jiménez's songs, which were previously unreleased. A dark-inspired 1980s dance-pop, disco and eurodance song, the song navigates through the theme of seeking a connection with an individual desiring shared moments.
