A Republican,he was a member of the Arkansas House of Representatives before resigning to work for the University of Central Arkansas. [1] He serves as the university's Director of Governmental Affairs and External Relations. [2] He represented District 45. [3] He has a bachelor's degree from Arkansas State University. [3]
