Jerry Uchechukwu Eze (born 22 August 1982) is a Nigerian Pentecostal pastor, best known as the founder and Lead Pastor of Streams of Joy International. [2] He is also recognized as the convener of the New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declaration (NSPPD), a popular online digital prayer meeting platform. [3] [4] [5] [6]

Early life

Eze was born on 22 August 1982 in Umuahia, the capital city of Abia State. He grew up in Umuahia where he attended Ibeku High School from 1991 to 1997.

He has a bachelor's degree in history and international relations from Abia State University, and a postgraduate certificate in business administration from the Enugu State University of Technology (ESUT).

Eze worked as a communications specialist with the World Bank project for HIV/AIDS and United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) before becoming a full-time cleric. [3] [7] [8] [9]

Eze married Pastor Eno Ebele Jerry (born 22 February 1983) on 17 March 2007, and they have two children, a girl (named Samara) and a boy (named Jerry). [10]

Ministry

Eze started his ministry in 2009 at All Saints Chapel, and in 2013 founded Stream of Joy International Church in Abia State where he serves as the lead pastor. Streams of Joy as of November 2022, has over 13 branches across Nigeria, Canada, the US and the United Kingdom. [11] Jerry Eze's ministry is focused on revival and healing.

Eze is known for the tagline, "What God cannot do, does not exist" [12] [13]

At the inception of COVID-19, Eze started the digital session called "The New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declarations (NSPPD)", hosted on YouTube and other social media platforms. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah was a former Nigerian Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development. An oil magnate, entrepreneur, investor and philanthropist, Ogah is the President of Master Energy Group, a conglomerate with over 15 subsidiaries and interests across a variety of industries, amongst is Masters Energy Oil and Gas Ltd.
