Knetig first studied engineering at the Warsaw Polytechnic, where he graduated in 1973. He then went on to study solo singing under Eugenia Szaniawska at the Secondary Music School in Warsaw, where he graduated with honours in 1977. That same year he began to take private singing lessons from Mieczyslaw Salecki and then Stanislawa Zawadzka. He finished the Academy of Music in Kraków, where he studied under Professor Helena Lazarska, with honours. In 1983/84 Knetig obtained a year's grant from the Austrian government and went to the College of Music in Vienna to improve his skills further under Kurt Egniluz.

Knetig has worked with the National Philharmonic in Warsaw since 1981 and the Kraków Opera since 1982. He joined the Warsaw Chamber Opera as a soloist in 1986 and has travelled all over Europe with this group. He has sung at the festivals Wratislavia Cantans, Warsaw Autumn, Berliner Festwochen, Caryntiche Sommer, Salzburger Festspiele, The European Music Festival in Berlin and Tokyo, and the Monreale Oratory Music Festival in Palermo. He has been invited to sing in operas and oratory concerts in Europe, Japan (where he did an opera tour singing Mozart's Le nozze di Figaro in November and December 1999) and Israel. He has sung at the La Scala, the Wiener Staatsoper and the Theater an der Wien.
Knetig took part in the official inauguration concert of the "Krzysztof Penderecki year" at the Kraków Philharmonic, conducted by Jan Krentz (Beethoven's Ninth Symphony).
Knetig also performed Ave Maria and an abbreviated version of Adieu (in Session 18) for the 1998 anime Cowboy Bebop .
Knetig's repertoire includes several dozen operas (mostly Mozart), about 110 oratory parts (including both of Bach's Passions) and over 300 songs. He has also made radio performances and sound recordings, including the archival recording of all of Ignacy Jan Paderewski's songs.

In 1991 Knetig began to teach at the Academy of Music where he has his own solo singing class. He has been a professor since 1999. In 1996 Knetig also began to teach singing at the Secondary Music School in Warsaw, where he is now Deputy Director. He and his pupils produced Paisiello's full-scale opera Il due Contesse in April 1999.

She is the President and founder of the Boston Wagner Society. Eaglen spends her summers instructing at the prestigious Merola opera training program for emerging artists. She is very active in her community. Every year she judges several voice competitions including the Laffont-Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions.

He enjoyed a successful international career and performed at leading concert halls around the world including La Scala, Metropolitan Opera, Royal Opera House, Opéra-Comique, La Fenice and Teatro Colón. He was the recipient of numerous national and international distinctions and honours including Poland's Order of Polonia Restituta, France's Legion of Honour and Sweden's Order of the Polar Star.

José Francisco Araiza Andrade is a Mexican operatic tenor and lied singer who has sung as soloist in leading concert halls and in leading tenor operatic roles in the major opera houses of Europe and North America during the course of a lengthy career. Born in Mexico City, he studied singing at the Conservatorio Nacional de Música de México and later in Germany, with Mozartian tenor Richard Holm, and lieder interpretation with Erik Werba. He made his operatic debut in 1970 in Mexico City as First Prisoner in Beethoven's Fidelio. Araiza initially came to international prominence singing in Mozart and Rossini operas, but in the 1980s broadened his repertoire to include Italian and French lyric tenor roles and Wagnerian roles such as Lohengrin and Walther von Stolzing. Classical music in Kosovo refers to the art music cultivated in Kosovo. The roots of classical music in Kosovo are found in the 1940s and include the time period from the times when Kosovo was part of Yugoslavia to this day. It can be said that there is a tradition of classical music in Kosovo, however, compared to other Balkan countries and especially European countries this tradition is younger. Classical music in Kosovo reaches back about 70 years. Even though in a short period of time, this music has evolved, passing through generations of composers and artists. In his book Albanian: Zhvillimi i stileve në veprat e kompozitorëve shqiptarë të Kosovës, Engjëll Berisha comments:
The diversity of styles in Albanian music [of Kosovo], its national patterns with sound idea-aesthetic foundations are a characteristic of the European musical reality, so many many works are of interest abroad, too, because during this relatively short period Albanian classical music in Kosovo has compensated for the delay in its development.

The Feliks Nowowiejski Academy of Music is a Polish state music university located in downtown Bydgoszcz. Its origins date back to 1974, as branch of the Music College in Łódź until 1979. At that point it was established as independent Bydgoszcz State College of Music, consisting of four departments. The current name was adopted in 1981.
