Jesse Zesseu (born 27 June 1999) is a Canadian para-athlete specializing in discus throw and long jump.

Early life

Zesseu attended Bishop Allen Academy and then earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of Guelph. [2]

Career

Zesseu competed at the 2023 World Para Athletics Championships in the discus throw and long jump T37 events. [3]

Zesseu represented Canada at the 2024 Summer Paralympics and won a silver medal in the discus throw F37 event. [4]

The National Olympic Committee of Pakistan was created in 1948. Pakistan first participated at the Paralympic Games in 1992, and has sent athletes to compete in every Summer Paralympic Games since then. Pakistan has won four medals, one gold, one silver and two bronze medals in the Paralympic Games. All four medals have come courtesy of Haider Ali in the Men's Long Jump and Discus Throw events. Pakistan has never participated in the Winter Paralympic Games.

The 2013 IPC Athletics World Championships was the biggest track and field competition for athletes with a disability since the 2012 Summer Paralympics. It was held in Lyon, France, and lasted from 20 to 28 July. Around 1,100 athletes competed, from 94 different countries. The event was held in the Stade du Rhône located at the Parc de Parilly in Vénissieux, in Lyon Metropolis.
