Jessica Parratto (born June 26, 1994) is an American diver.
Jessica Parratto is an eight-time USA Diving National Champion in women's platform and platform synchro. At the age of 17 she competed at her first world event, the 2015 World Aquatics Championships. [1] Parratto placed 10th in the Women's 10m Platform at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio. [2] She competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics in the Women's Synchronized Platform with partner Delaney Schnell, placing second and winning the first ever Olympic medal for the United States in that event. Daughter of Mike and Amy Parratto, Jessica and her sister Melissa grew up in Dover, New Hampshire. Her father Mike coached Olympic swimmer Jenny Thompson, one of the most decorated female Olympians of all time with 12 Olympic medals, 8 of which are gold. Her mother Amy was a five-time All American diver at Wellesley College and coached Jessica until the age of 14.
Parratto's Olympic debut was at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. In the individual 10 meter platform event Parratto placed 10th with a score of 334.60 points. In the synchronized 10 meter platform dive event Parratto and her partner Amy Cozad took 7th place with a score of 301.02 points. [4]
Parratto was the NCAA champion in 10m diving in 2015. She won with a score of 367.00 which was almost 30 points ahead of the runner up. She also competed in the 1m and 3m events. She placed 13th in the 1m event and tied for 7th in the 3m event. [5]
Parratto then competed in the Synchronized Women's 10 meter event with Delaney Schnell, winning the silver medal. Parratto and Schnell won the first ever Olympic medal in the event for the United States, and they matched their best U.S result in any Olympic women’s diving event since Laura Wilkinson’s individual platform gold in 2000. David Alasdair Boudia is an American diver. He won the gold medal in the 10 metre platform diving competition at the 2012 Summer Olympics and the bronze medal in the same event at the 2016 Summer Olympics. He also won a bronze medal with Nick McCrory in the men's synchronized 10 metre platform at the 2012 Summer Olympics and a silver medal in the same event with Steele Johnson at the 2016 Summer Olympics.
Reuben Ross is a Canadian diver. He won a gold medal in the men's 3m or 3m synchronized events at the Canadian Nationals from 2008 to 2011. Ross competed in the individual 3m springboard and 10m platform events at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he competed in the 3m springboard synchronized event with Alexandre Despatie.
Kristian Ipsen is an American diver, who has been diving competitively since 1998. Diving alongside Troy Dumais, they took the silver medal in the synchronized 3 meter springboard at the 2009 World Aquatics Championships and the bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics.
Michael Hixon is an American diver. He is a two-time Olympic medalist, having won the silver medal with Sam Dorman in the men's synchronized 3-meter springboard event at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro and the silver medal with Andrew Capobianco at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo in the same event.
Shi Tingmao is a Chinese diver representing Chongqing diving team. She has been dominant in the 3 metre springboard events in the 2010s. She has won four gold medals in Olympic competitions, two at the 2016 Olympics and two more at the 2020 Olympics. She also holds eight golds in the World Championships.
Anabelle "Belle" Smith is an Australian diver. She is the 2022 Commonwealth Games champion in the 3 metre synchronized springboard. She competed in the 3 m springboard synchronized event at the 2012, 2016 and 2020 Summer Olympics. She won a bronze medal in 2016, and was placed fifth in 2012.
Cheong Jun Hoong is a retired Malaysian diver. She won a silver medal in the synchronised 10m platform event with Pandelela Rinong at the 2016 Summer Olympics. At the 2017 World Aquatics Championships, she became Malaysia's first diving world champion after winning the 10m platform event.
Cao Yuan is a Chinese diver and an Olympic gold medalist, having won three golds, one silver and one bronze in the Olympics. He has also won golds in diving at the World Championships and World Cups.
Ilya Leonidovich Zakharov is a Russian diver and politician. He is the 2012 Olympics gold medalist in 3 metre Springboard.
Chen Aisen is a Chinese diver. He is a double gold medal winner at the 2016 Summer Olympics. He won gold in the men's synchronised 10m platform competition with diving partner Lin Yue, as well as gold in the men's individual 10m platform. She competed in the women's synchronized ten metre platform event at the 2016 Summer Olympics with Tonia Couch and she won bronze at the 2024 Summer Olympics in same category with Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix. She won silver in mixed 10m platform synchro at the 2017 World Aquatics Championships with Matty Lee, and gold in the women's synchronized 10 metre platform at the 2018 European Aquatics Championships with Eden Cheng.
