Jiangjiehe Bridge is a concrete arch bridge in Weng'an County, Guizhou, China, spanning 330 metres over the Wu River. At 256 metres high the Jiangjiehe Bridge was the highest bridge in China from 1995 when it opened until 2001 when the 297-metre-high Liuguanghe Bridge was completed. As of 2019, it is among the forty highest bridges in the world. The bridge is located on the provincial S205 road between Weng'an and Honghuagang.

Goupitan Reservoir

The completion of the Goupitan Dam situated 40 km down the river from the bridge site has created a reservoir which extends under the bridge. The true 256 metre drop to the valley floor can now not be seen due to approximately 100 metres of water below the bridge.

Zhijing River Bridge was the highest arch bridge in the world upon its completion in 2009. The 294 metres high bridge in the Three Gorges region of China carries the G50 Shanghai–Chongqing Expressway across the valley of the Zhijing River, a northern tributary of the Qing River. With a main span of 430 metres the bridge is also one of the 20 longest arch bridges in the world. The bridge is located between the towns of Yesanguan and Dazhiping in Badong County of the Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture of Hubei Province. The world's highest bridge the Sidu River Bridge is situated only 20km eastwards along the G50 Shanghai–Chongqing Expressway.

The Beipan River Shuibai Railway Bridge was the world's highest railway bridge from 2001 to 2016. The bridge spans a deep canyon on the Beipan River near the city of Liupanshui in Guizhou province, China. The arch bridge, with a maximum height of 275 metres and a span width of 236 metres, was built in 2001 with the construction of the Liupanshui–Baiguo railway. Here, the train runs on its highest speed.

The span is the highest through arch in the world. The bridge crosses the Xisha River, a tributary of the larger Apeng River (Apengjiang). The bridge is located on G65 Baotou–Maoming Expressway which has several other bridges over 200 meters high including the Aizhai Bridge and the Wulingshan Bridge.

The Wushan Yangtze River Bridge is an arch bridge, which carries S301 Provincial Road across the Yangtze River near Wushan, Chongqing, China. Completed in 2005, the 130 metres (430 ft) high arch spans 460 metres (1,510 ft) ranking it in the top ten longest arch bridges in the world. The bridge is also among the highest in the world however, the reservoir created by the construction of the Three Gorges Dam has increased the height of the water below the bridge, and the full 180 metres (590 ft) clearance is no longer visible. The bridge was officially opened to the public on January 8, 2005.

The Meixi River Bridge is an arch bridge which crosses the Meixi River in Fengjie, Chongqing, China. It replaced an earlier suspension bridge across the river built in 1990. Completed in 2000, The bridge was constructed 140 metres (460 ft) above the river however the reservoir created by the construction of the Three Gorges Dam has increased the height of the water below the bridge and the full clearance is no longer visible. The bridge spans 288 metres (945 ft) ranking among the longest arch bridges in the world. The bridge is located very near the end of the river and can be seen by boats travelling along the Yangtze River.

Xixi Bridge is a 701 metres (2,300 ft) long suspension bridge on the border of Dafang County and Qianxi County in Guizhou, China. The bridge forms part of China National Highway 321 between Bijie and Guiyang. As of 2019, it is among the seventy highest bridges in the world sitting 218 metres (715 ft) above the natural river level. The reservoir from the Hongjiadu Dam on the Liuchong River extends below the bridge and when full, it reduces the clearance below the bridge to 165 metres (541 ft).

The Luojiao River Bridge is a 268 metres (879 ft) long suspension bridge in the Dafang County of Guizhou, China. The bridge forms part of China National Highway 321 between Bijie and Guiyang. As of 2012, it is among the highest bridges in the world sitting 183 metres (600 ft) above the natural river level. Three other high bridges sit along the stretch of highway between Bijie and Guiyang: the Liuguanghe Bridge, the Xixi Bridge, and the Wuxi Bridge. Construction of a dam on the river, downstream of the bridge has created a reservoir which extends under the bridge. At full pool level the clearance below the bridge is reduced to 146 metres (479 ft).

The bridge's highest tower measures 218 metres (715 ft) and the bridge has a main span of 388 metres (1,273 ft). The bridge was constructed 147 metres (482 ft) above the original river however the reservoir created by the Three Gorges Dam has increased the height of the water below the bridge and the clearance is vastly reduced.

The Xingkang Bridge or Luding Yaye Expressway Bridge as is a suspension bridge in Luding County, Sichuan, China that opened in 2018. The 285 m (935 ft) high deck is one of the highest in world. The bridge forms part of the G4218 Ya'an–Kargilik Expressway carrying traffic over the Dadu River. The bridge began construction in 2014 and opened in 2018. The main span of the bridge is 1,100 m (3,600 ft) making it one of the longest ever built.

The Yachi River Bridge is an arch bridge in Guizhou, China. The bridge, at 272 m (892 ft), is one of the highest in world. It is also one of the longest arch bridges with a main span of 436 m (1,430 ft). The bridge crosses the Yachi River between Qianxi County in Bijie and Qingzhen in Guiyang. The bridge is part of the Chengdu–Guiyang high-speed railway.

Zhaozhuang Bridge is a 410 metre long arch bridge currently under construction in Xingyi, in the Guizhou province of China. When it is completed it will be the highest arch bridge in the world. It will rank among the 20 highest bridges of any type and be among the 20 longest arch bridges. The bridge crosses the Maling River Canyon. The Maling River is a tributary of the Nanpan River.

Zongxihe Bridgeis an arch bridge in Nayong County, Bijie, Guizhou, China. At 264 m (866 ft), the bridge is one of the highest in world. The bridge is part of the new G56 Hangzhou–Ruili Expressway between Bijie and Liupanshui. The bridge crosses the Liuchong River.

Chajiaotan Bridge Bridge in Guizhou, China

Chajiaotan Bridge is a suspension bridge in Xishui County, Guizhou, China. It is one of the highest bridges in the world at 323 m (1,060 ft). The bridge is part of the Xugu Expressway carrying traffic over the Chishui River. Construction began in 2014 and the bridge opened in 2020. The main span of the bridge is 1,200 m (3,900 ft) making it one of the longest ever built. Other high bridges on the Sichuan section of the Xugu expressway include Shilianghe, Luosizhai, Tiantanghe, Modaoxi and two crossings of the Gulin River.
