Jimmy Martin (born October 19, 1982) [1] is a former American football tackle. [2] He played college football at Virginia Tech where he was a four-year starter. He was selected in the seventh round of the 2006 NFL draft with the 227th overall pick. [3]

The 2006 Gator Bowl was a college football bowl game between the Louisville Cardinals and the Virginia Tech Hokies at Alltel Stadium in Jacksonville, Florida, United States, on January 2, 2006.
