Spain has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest in every edition since 1961, in total 63 times. The current Spanish participant broadcaster in the contest is Radiotelevisión Española (RTVE). Spain is one of the "Big Five" countries, along with France, Germany, Italy, and the United Kingdom, that are automatically prequalified for the final, due to their participant broadcasters being the largest financial contributors to the European Broadcasting Union (EBU).

Abderrahman Ait Khamouch Badaui is a Paralympic athlete from Spain competing mainly in category T46 middle distance and marathon events. Originally from Morocco, he emigrated to Spain and gained citizenship in August 2008. He has represented Spain at the 2008 and 2012 Summer Paralympics, winning silver in the 1,500 meters and bronze in the 800 meters in 2008, and silver in the marathon in 2012.
Carolina María Marín Martín is a Spanish badminton player. She is an Olympic Champion, three-time World Champion, and eight-time European Champion. She has held the No. 1 BWF World Ranking in women's singles for a total of 66 weeks, and she is the current world No. 3. She has won the World Championships in 2014, 2015, and 2018, becoming the only non-Asian player and the only women's singles player after Han Aiping to win the title three times. Marín is the only player in history to win at least seven gold medals in a single discipline of any continental championship, having won every European Championships title since 2014, and a European Games title in 2023. She also won the Olympics gold medal in women's singles at the 2016 Rio Olympics, thereby becoming the only non-Asian female player to win a badminton gold medal at the Olympics.
Jon Santacana Maiztegui is a Spanish B2 classified visually impaired para-alpine skier. His sighted ski guide is Miguel Galindo Garces. Santacana has competed at the IPC Alpine Skiing World Championships, in the European Cup and the IPC Alpine Skiing World Cup, and Spanish national competitions. He represented Spain at the 2002 Winter Paralympics, 2006 Winter Paralympics and 2010 Winter Paralympics, earning a gold medal and a pair of silver medals at the 2010 Games.

Anna Cohí Fornell is a visually impaired Spanish para-alpine Paralympic skier who competed at the 2006 Winter Paralympics and 2010 Winter Paralympics. Cohí is classified as a B3 competitor and skis with guide Raquel Garcia. She began skiing at the age of three and began World Championship competition in 2003 at age fifteen. Cohí has also competed in World Cup and European Cup events and has earned gold medals in the slalom and giant slalom competitions.

Sonia Reyes Sáez is a Spanish taekwondo practitioner, who competed in the women's featherweight category. She was born in Guadalajara. Considered one of the world's top favorites in her respective category, Reyes picked up a total of five medals in her career, including three bronze from the World Taekwondo Championships, and finished fourth in the 57-kg division at the 2004 Summer Olympics. Throughout her sporting career, Reyes trained full-time for Club Sung Dae Kwan in Madrid, under head coach and master Song Dae-young.

Spain participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 with the song "Voy a quedarme" written by Blas Cantó, Leroy Sanchez, Daniel Ortega "Dangelo" and Dan Hammond. The song was performed by Blas Cantó, who was internally selected by the Spanish broadcaster Televisión Española (TVE) to represent Spain at the 2021 contest in Rotterdam, Netherlands after he was due to compete in the 2020 contest with "Universo" before the event's cancellation. Blas Cantó was announced as the Spanish representative on 18 March 2020, while the national final Destino Eurovisión 2021 was organised in order to select the song Cantó would perform. Two songs competed in the televised show where a public vote exclusively selected "Voy a quedarme" as the winning song, receiving 58% of the votes.

Anna Baranova is a rhythmic gymnastics coach, former Spanish national coach and current coach of the French national team. She has held the position of coach of the Spanish group in two stages: the first from 2004 to 2008, and the second from 2011 to 2020. In both she had the help as a coach of Sara Bayon. In this period the Spanish team, known as the Equipaso, has won silver at the Olympic Games in Rio 2016, became double world champion in 10 clubs, won world All-Around bronze in 2015 in Stuttgart and finished in 4th place at the 2012 London Olympics.
