Joanna Wallfisch (born 1985[ citation needed ] in London) is a British-Australian singer-songwriter and jazz singer.
Wallfisch grew up in London in a musical family. Her father Raphael Wallfisch is a british cellist, her mother Elizabeth Wallfisch an Australian baroque violinist, her brothers are film composer Benjamin Wallfisch and opera singer Simon Wallfisch. [1] She studied fine arts at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design and Beaux-Arts de Paris, [2] and received a master of music in jazz performance from Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 2011. [3] [2] [4] In the same year she self published her debut album Wild Swan and moved to New York, [4] where she collaborated with Sam Newsome, [4] and Dan Tepfer. [5] Wallfisch released the albums The Origin of Adjustable Things in 2015 [5] and Gardens in My Mind in 2016, [6] and performed 16 solo shows on a bicycle tour from Portland to Santa Monica, subject of her book The Great Song Cycle. [7] In 2020 Wallfisch released her 40 minute documentary The Great Song Cycle, Down Under about another bicycle tour in Australia, crowdfunded with $ 5.424. [8] It was shown at the Flathead Lake International Cinemafest in Polson in 2021. [9] In September 2022 Wallfisch premiered her song The Ship live on a tv morning show. Rick White is a Canadian musician and singer-songwriter. Born in Moncton, New Brunswick, he was a member of indie bands Eric's Trip, Elevator, Perplexus, and The Unintended. White first played music, in a band called "Bloodstain", in 1984, before starting his own band "in 1986", called "T.C.I.B", which later transitioned into the band name, "The Underdogs", which lasted from the summer of 1987, until June 1988. By the summer of 1989, The Underdogs had broken up, and Rick had joined another band, "The Forest", which lasted from the 1989, until June 1990, with a one-off recording session happening in December, 1990. Prior to Eric's Trip, and while in Eric's Trip, White also recorded two solo-produced albums, one in March 1990, and another in August 1991, but both were not released until 2022. Known for lo-fi recording, he has also recorded and produced music for The Sadies, Orange Glass, Joel Plaskett, One Hundred Dollars, Dog Day, HotKid and his former Eric's Trip bandmate Julie Doiron.

The score is "larger and more matured" than the first film, which demanded Wallfisch a 100-piece orchestra from the Hollywood Studio Symphony and 40-member voice choir performing. The album consisting of 45 tracks, were released by WaterTower Music on August 30, 2019, a week before the film's release. It was further released in double vinyl on December 6, 2019.
