Jodo-myeon is a myeon (township) in Jindo County of South Jeolla Province, South Korea. The township office is in Changyu-ri on Hajodo (Hajo Island).
There are 177 islands (36 inhabited and 141 uninhabited islands) on the sea off Jodo-myeon. It is the largest cluster of islands in Korea. Jodogundo or Jodo archipelagoes, the six archipelagoes of Jodo, include Gasa archipelago, Seongnam archipelago, Sangjo archipelago, Geocha archipelago, Gwanmae archipelago, and Hajo archipelago. [2]

Gangdong-myeon is a myeon or a township of Gyeongju city in North Gyeongsang Province, South Korea. It is bordered by Pohang on the east and north, Cheonbuk-myeon on the south and Angang-eup on the west. In 2006 its population was 8,705 people, and its area is approximately 81.48 sq kilometers. Its name means "east of the river" although in fact much of it lies north of the Hyeongsan River.
Seo-myeon is a myeon or a township in the subdivision of the Gyeongju City, North Gyeongsang province, South Korea. It is bordered by its neighborhoods including Hyeongok-myeon and Geoncheon-eup on the east, Sannae-myeon on the south and Yeongcheon City on the west and north. Its 52.12 square kilometers are home to about 4,166 people. This population is served by one elementary school and one joint middle school.
Hyeongok-myeon is a myeon or a township in the administrative subdivisions of Gyeongju City, North Gyeongsang province, South Korea. It is bordered by Hyeongsan River, Cheonbuk-myeon and Yonghwang-dong to the east, Bodeok-dong to the south, Geoncheon-eup to the southwest, Seo-myeon to the west and Angang-eup to the north. It has an area of 55.74 square kilometers and is home to 13,658 people. This population is served by three elementary schools, one middle school and one high school.
Cheonbuk-myeon is a myeon, or township, in the administrative subdivisions of the Gyeongju City, North Gyeongsang province, South Korea. It is bordered by Pohang city to the east, Bodeok-dong to the south, Angang-eup and Hyeongok-myeon to the Hyeongsan River to the west and Gangdong-myeon to the north. Its 58.15 square kilometres (22.45 sq mi) are home to about 6,140 people. There are two elementary schools and one high school.
Munmudaewang-myeon is a myeon or a township in the administrative subdivisions of the Gyeongju City, North Gyeongsang province, South Korea. It is bordered by Gampo-eup and Sea of Japan on the east, Yangnam-myeon on the south, Bulguk-dong, Bodeok-dong and Oedong-eup on the west and Ocheon-eup and Janggi-myeon of the Pohang city on the north. Its 120.06 square kilometers are home to about 4,558 people. This population is served by one joint elementary-middle school.
Yangnam-myeon is a myeon or a township in the administrative subdivisions of the Gyeongju City, North Gyeongsang province, South Korea. It is bordered by the Sea of Japan on the east, the Ulju County of Ulsan Metropolitan City on the south, Oedong-eup on the west and Yangbuk-myeon on the north. Its 85.06 square kilometers are home to about 7,131 people. The Wolseong Nuclear Power Plant is situated in the myeon.
Naenam-myeon is a myeon or a township in the administrative subdivisions of the Gyeongju City, North Gyeongsang province, South Korea. It is bordered by Geumo Mountains on the east, Jusa Mountains on the south. Its 122.05 square kilometers are home to about 6,142 people. Maenggolgundo (Korean: 맹골군도), also Maenggol Kundo, is an archipelago in Maenggoldo-ri, Jodo-myeon, Jindo County, South Jeolla Province, South Korea. It consists of six islands. Three of the islands are inhabited: Jukdo (죽도), Maenggoldo (맹골도), and Gwakdo (곽도). Three are uninhabited islets: Myeongdo (명도), Mongdeokdo (몽덕도), and Sojukdo (소죽도).
Geochagundo (Korean: 거차군도) is an archipelago in the Yellow Sea, located about 30 km (19 mi) south-west of Jindo, in the administrative divisions of Donggeochado-ri and Seogeochado-ri, Jodo-myeon, Jindo County, South Jeolla Province.
Yulchon-myeon, also called Yulchon Township, or shortly Yulchon, is a myeon (township) in Yeosu city of South Jeolla Province, South Korea. The myeon is located in the north-western part of the city. The total area of Yulchon-myeon is 46.5 square kilometers, and, as of the last day of 2010, the population was 7404 people. It has Yeosu Airport in Sinpung-ri. Township hall is located in Johwa-ri. Sora-myeon is to the south and Haeryong-myeon, Suncheon to the north, Gwangyang-eup, Gwangyang is to the north-east, Suncheon Bay and Yeoja Bay to the west, and Gwangyang Bay is to the east.
Hwayang-myeon, also called as Hwayang Township, or shortly Hwayang, is a myeon (township) in Yeosu city of South Jeolla Province, South Korea. The myeon is located in south-western part of the city. The total area of the myeon is 70.1 square kilometres, and, as of the last day of 2010, the population was 8108 people, 3559 houses. The township hall is located in Najin-ri, and address of the township hall is 16-10, Najin-gil, Hwayang-myeon. Hwajeong-myeon and Jangsu Bay is southern section, Sora-myeon is northern section, Ssangbong-dong is north-eastern section, the Gamak Bay is eastern section, and the Yeoja Bay is western section.
Hwajeong-myeon, also called Hwajeong Township, or Hwajeong for short, is a myeon in Yeosu, a city in the South Jeolla Province, South Korea.
Nam-myeon, also called Nam (South) Township, or Nam for short, is a myeon (township) in Yeosu city of South Jeolla Province, South Korea. The myeon is located in south-eastern part of the city. The total area of the myeon is 42.34 square kilometres (16.35 sq mi), and as of 2015 the population was 2885 people. The township hall is located in Baegya-ri, at 10, Naeoejin-gil, Nam-myeon. Hwajeong-myeon and Gamak Bay are to the northwest, Dolsan-eup is to the north, Gamak Bay and Dolsan-eup is to the northeast, and the South Sea is to the south. The myeon is made up of islands, and it is second-most southern myeon in Yeosu, after Samsan-myeon.
Haeryong-myeon, also called Haeryong Township, or Haeryong for short, is a myeon (township) in Suncheon, a city in South Jeolla Province, South Korea. The township is located in the south-eastern part of the city with a total area of 49.93 square kilometres (19.28 sq mi). As of the last day of the year 2016, the population was recorded to be 46,994 people and the number of houses totaled 16,204. It is the myeon with the largest population in South Korea. The myeon office is located in 1228-10, Haeryong-ro in Woljeon-ri. There is Suncheon Bay in the south-west of the myeon; Yulchon-myeon, Yeosu in the south; Gwangyang Bay in the east; Gwangyang-eup, Gwangyang in the north-east; and Dosa-dong, Pungdeok-dong, Deogyeon-dong, Wangjo 2-dong, and Wangjo 1-dong in the west and the north-west.
Samsan-myeon, also called Samsan Township, or Samsan for short, is a myeon (township) in Yeosu, a city in South Jeolla Province, South Korea. The township is located in the south-western part of the city with a total area of 27.48 square kilometres (10.61 sq mi). The population was recorded to be 2643 people, 1438 males and 1205 females, and the number of houses totaled 1261. The myeon office is located in 28–10, Geomun-gil in Geomun-ri. There are Jeju Province in the south-west of the myeon; mainland of Yeosu in the north-east; Goheung County in the north; and Wando County in the north-east. There is Geomundo/Baekdo zone of Dadohaehaesang National Park in Geomundo and Baekdo. The name of the myeon, Samsan, which means three mountains, is from three main islands in Geomumdo which looked like three mountains: Seodo, Dongdo, and Godo.
