The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference is a collegiate athletic conference affiliated with NCAA Division I. Its current 13 full members are located in five Northeastern states: Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and New York.

Brian Giorgis is a retired head coach of the Marist Red Foxes women's basketball program. Giorgis completed his twenty-first season at the helm as head coach in 2023. His 250th career win at Marist, which came in March 2012, coincided with his players notching the Red Foxes' 7th Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) crown, and their eighth conference crown since 2004.

The Marist Red Foxes men's basketball team is the basketball team that represents Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York, United States. The school's team currently competes in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. The Red Foxes have qualified for the NCAA tournament twice, losing in the first round in both instances. Prior to joining the MAAC in 1997, Marist was a charter member of the ECAC Metro Conference in 1981; which became the Northeast Conference in 1988.
Williams Field at Carter Memorial Stadium is a baseball venue on the campus of Radford University in Radford, Virginia, United States. It is home to the Radford Highlanders of the NCAA Division I Big South Conference. The field opened in 1986 and underwent extensive renovations in 2011. Its capacity is 800 spectators, with a grass area down the left field line allowing for overflow crowds.
Shawn Stiffler is an American college baseball coach and former pitcher, who is the current head coach of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. He played college baseball for the George Mason Patriots from 1998 to 2001 under head coach Bill Brown. Stiffler had been a part of the Rams baseball program since 2007, where he spent the first 5 seasons as an assistant to Paul Keyes.
Mike McRae is a Canadian college baseball coach who is the associate head coach and pitching coach for the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. He was previously the head baseball coach at the College of William & Mary from 2022 to 2024. He was formerly an assistant coach at Virginia Commonwealth University and head coach of the Canisius Golden Griffins. McRae was Canisius's head coach from the start of the 2005 season to the end of the 2017 season. Under McRae in 2013, Canisius advanced to its first NCAA tournament. Before becoming the head coach at Canisius, he was the head coach at Niagara from 2002–2004, and an assistant at several NCAA Division I programs from 1996–2001.
Chris Tracz is an American baseball coach and former pitcher, who is the current head baseball coach of the Army Black Knights. He played college baseball for Marist from 2001 to 2005. He served as the head coach of the Marist Red Foxes (2010–2022).
Michael J. Cole is an American college baseball coach and former third baseman, who is the current associate head baseball coach for the Army Black Knights. Cole played college baseball at the University of Vermont from 1998 to 2001 for coach Bill Currier. He also served as the head coach of the NJIT Highlanders (2011–2012) and the Manhattan Jaspers (2018–2022)
Paul Panik Jr. is an American college baseball coach and former catcher, who is currently an assistant baseball coach at the College of William and Mary. Panik played college baseball at Canisius College for coach Mike McRae from 2007 to 2010. He then served as the head coach of the Iona Gaels (2019–2021).
Daniel Bertolini is an American baseball coach and former shortstop, who is an assistant coach for the Kent State Golden Flashes from 2017 to 2024. He was previously the head baseball coach at Youngstown State. He played college baseball at Mercyhurst University for coach Joe Spano from 2005 to 2008 before playing 1 season in the Frontier League in 2008. He was the head coach at Mercyhurst North East (2009–2016).
The 2019 NCAA Division I Baseball season, play of college baseball in the United States organized by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) at the Division I level, began February 15, 2019. The season progressed through the regular season, many conference tournaments and championship series, and concluded with the 2019 NCAA Division I baseball tournament and 2019 College World Series. The College World Series, consisting of the eight remaining teams in the NCAA tournament and held annually in Omaha, Nebraska, at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha, ended on June 26, 2019. The Vanderbilt Commodores won the tournament, and were consequently named national champions.
Alexander Joseph Guerra is a baseball coach and former infielder, who is the current head baseball coach of the Radford Highlanders. He played college baseball at Greensboro in 2007 and 2008 before transferring to Radford from 2009 to 2011.
Eduardo Cornejo is a baseball coach and former infielder, who is the current head baseball coach of the Cal State Northridge Matadors. He played college baseball at Riverside Community College in 2001 before transferring to Oklahoma. He played professionally from 2003 to 2008.
Lance Ratchford is an American baseball coach and former infielder, who is the current head baseball coach of the Marist Red Foxes. He played college baseball at Mansfield University of Pennsylvania from 2008 to 2010 before transferring to Keystone College. He has also been the head coach of the SUNY Cobleskill Fighting Tigers (2019–2022). Under Ratchford the Fighting Tigers captured back to back Conference Division Titles in 2021 and 2022. After the 2022 season Ratchford was named North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Coach of the Year.
