Vanessa-Mae, also called Vanessa-Mae Vanakorn Nicholson, is a Singaporean-born British violinist with album sales reaching several million, having made her the wealthiest entertainer under 30 in the United Kingdom in 2006. She competed under the name Vanessa Vanakorn for Thailand in alpine skiing at the 2014 Winter Olympics. She was initially banned from skiing by the International Ski Federation (FIS) after participating in a qualifying race allegedly organised to enable her to qualify for the Winter Olympics. An appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport led to the ban being nullified, citing lack of evidence for her own wrongdoing or any manipulation. The FIS later issued an apology to her.

Dow Travers is a Caymanian alpine skier, rugby union player and entrepreneur, who competes in giant slalom and Rugby XVs and 7s. He represented the Cayman Islands in alpine skiing at the 2010 Winter Olympics, becoming the Cayman Islands' first Winter Olympian, and the 2014 Winter Olympics. Travers, who is the son of Anthony Travers, was born and raised in Grand Cayman, where he attended Faulkner's Academy. He later went to boarding school at Harrow School in London, United Kingdom, Brown University which he represented for rugby and skiing, and Columbia Business School. Travers has younger brothers, Dillon and Dean. Dean is also a competitive skier for the Cayman Islands. He founded Refuel in the Cayman Islands in 2017.
The United States Virgin Islands (USVI) sent a delegation to compete at the 2014 Winter Olympics held in Sochi, Russia from 7–23 February 2014. This marked the return of the Virgin Islands to the Winter Olympics after missing the 2010 edition, and was their sixth time competing at a Winter Olympic Games. The USVI team consisted of one athlete in alpine skiing, Jasmine Campbell. She finished 56th in the giant slalom and 43rd in the slalom.

When Campbell was nine she moved from the Virgin Islands to her current place of residence Hailey, Idaho. Her father John also competed for the islands in alpine skiing at the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville, France and her mother Jennifer Lyons would have participated in the 1992 Olympic Games, but she renounced a short time after her pregnancy with Jasmine. She was the flag bearer for the U.S. Virgin Islands in the 2014 Winter Olympics
Florence Bell is an alpine skier who represents Ireland in international competitions. She is the younger sister of Alpine skier Victoria Bell.

The Icelandic delegation consisted of two alpine skiers, Erna Friðriksdóttir and Jóhann Þór Hólmgrímsson. Jóhann finished 23rd in the men's sitting giant slalom, while Erna finished 10th in the women's sitting slalom and 9th in the women's sitting giant slalom.
Karolina Chrapek is an alpine skier representing Poland. She competed for Poland at the 2014 Winter Olympics in the alpine skiing events. She finished 17th in the combined, 33rd in the downhill and giant slalom, and failed to finish the slalom and super-G. She also competed at the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in 2011 and 2013. In 2011, she finished 20th in the super combined, 33rd in the slalom and 34th in the super-G, while in 2013 she finished 27th in the super combined. Chrapek also competed at the 2013 Winter Universiade, where she finished second in the super-G and third in the downhill.
Aleksandra Król is a Polish snowboarder. She competed at the FIS Snowboarding World Championships 2011 and 2013; both times in parallel giant slalom and parallel slalom. She competed at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, in parallel giant slalom and parallel slalom.
Aaron March is an Italian alpine snowboarder. He represented his nation Italy in two editions of the Olympic Games, and eventually claimed a silver medal in parallel giant slalom at the 2013 Winter Universiade in the Trentino and top ten finishes at the FIS World Cup series since his sporting debut in 2001.
