John Noel Hillier (born 1944) is a former athlete who represented both England and Great Britain. [2] John threw a PB of 59.76m on the 27th of July, 1976, in Edinburgh, Scotland. [3]

John is currently an athletics coach, and has coached the likes of Myrtle Augee, [4] Lawrence Okoye, [5] Shaunagh Brown [6] & Nicholas Percy. [7]

John currently coaches a large number of athletes across a wide range of ages, currently the likes of Cleo Agyepong, [8] Brydon Duncan [9] and Timi Babatunde [10] are under his guidance.

Athletics career

He represented England and won a bronze medal in the discus event, at the 1974 British Commonwealth Games in Christchurch, New Zealand. [11] [12] Four years later he represented England in the discus event, at the 1978 Commonwealth Games in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. [13] [14]

West has two bronze Paralympic medals and one silver, all in the shot put, and has medalled in the IPC World Championships and the Commonwealth Games.

Gemma Louise Prescott is a British Paralympian track and field athlete competing in F32 throwing events. Prescott represented England in the 2010 Commonwealth Games, taking the bronze medal in the SP shot put. She has represented the Great Britain team twice in the 2008 Summer Paralympics in Beijing and the 2012 Summer Paralympics in London.

Sarah Holt is a British athlete who specializes in the hammer throw, her personal best is 68.97m. She was born in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, United Kingdom. Holt has represented Great Britain Athletics Team consistently since 2006. She began athletics at the age of 12, competing for Spenborough and District Athletics Club. She then went on to compete for Sale Harriers Manchester, her current club. Career highlights include European U23 bronze medallist (2009), Double England Champion and Commonwealth Games representative (2010). Holt attended Whitcliffe Mount School in Cleckheaton. where she had academic success, achieving straight A grades at A-Level. Her academics continued at Loughborough University where she gained a BSc in Geography and Sport science (2:1).

Aldershot, Farnham and District Athletic Club is an athletics club based in Aldershot, Hampshire, England. The club are based at the Aldershot Military Stadium in Aldershot, Hampshire. AFD competes in the Youth Development League (YDL), Hampshire and Surrey Leagues, various relay events including the Southern Road Relays and National Road and Cross Country Relays.
