John Charles Mills (born 28 November 1941) is an Australian politician who represented Wallsend in the New South Wales Legislative Assembly for the Labor Party from 1988 to 2007.
Mills was awarded a Bachelor of Science (Hons),and a Master of Science. He was a previously an industrial chemist with BHP. He is married with two children. He represented Wallsend for the Labor Party from 1988 to 2007. [1]

Strathfield is an electoral district of the Legislative Assembly in the Australian state of New South Wales. It was previously represented by Jodi McKay of the Labor Party until her resignation in 2021. Jason Yat-Sen Li won the by-election on the 12 February 2022 to succeed McKay. At Federation, he was elected to the new Australian House of Representatives as the Labor member for Newcastle and served until his death in 1935. Watkins' death left former Prime Minister Billy Hughes as the only remaining member of the First Parliament still in the House.

Kenneth George Booth was a New South Wales politician, Treasurer, and Minister of the Crown in the cabinets of Neville Wran and Barrie Unsworth. From 1981 to 1988 he was the Treasurer of New South Wales. He was a member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly for 28 years from 8 October 1960 until his death on 1 November 1988 for the Labor Party, representing the seats of Kurri Kurri and Wallsend.
John Estell was a politician and coal miner in New South Wales, Australia. He was a member of the New South Wales Parliament for 29 years, including 20 years in the Legislative Assembly. He was a minister in the Holman, Storey and Dooley Labor governments.
The Protestant Labour Party, alternatively spelt Protestant Labor, was a minor Australian political party that operated mainly in New South Wales, Queensland and South Australia in the 1920s and 1930s. It was formed by Walter Skelton in July 1923 as the Protestant Independent Labour Party. who had stood for the New South Wales Legislative Assembly district of Newcastle at the 1922 election, campaigning as a Protestant Independent Labour candidate, in which he was elected first of five members, receiving 25.19% of the vote. In 1925 he was re-elected to the Assembly under the Protestant Labour label, as the second of five members, receiving 17.70% of the vote. The party stood candidates in 12 of the 24 districts however Skelton was the only one elected, with the next highest candidate receiving 5.10% of the district vote.

Thomas Armstrong was an Australian politician. He was a member of the New South Wales Parliament from 1953 until his death in 1957. He was independent but generally supported the Labor Party government of Joseph Cahill. Armstrong was born and educated to elementary level in Lambton, New South Wales. He was the son of a coal-miner and began working as a miner at Wallsend Colliery at age 14. He eventually became an ironworker at the Newcastle Steel Works and became an official of the Federated Ironworkers' Association. He was elected as an alderman of Newcastle City Council between 1941 and 1953 and was the Mayor of Newcastle in 1952.
Christopher Augustus "Gus" Kelly was an Australian politician. He was a Labor Party member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly from 1925 to 1932 and again from 1935 until his death in 1967, representing the electorate of Bathurst. He held numerous ministerial positions between 1941 and 1965 in McKell Labor Government.
