Johnny Sheehan (born 1975) is an Irish retired hurler who played for East Cork club St. Catherine's. He played for the Cork senior hurling team for two seasons, during which time he usually lined out at midfield. [1]
Sheehan began his hurling career at club level with St. Catherine's. After beginning his career at juvenile and underage levels, he eventually broke onto the club's top adult team and enjoyed his first success in 1994 when the club won the Cork Intermediate Championship title. He later won a Cork Premier Intermediate Championship title in 2004 and promotion to the top flight of Cork hurling.
At inter-county level, Sheehan was part of the successful Cork under-21 team that won the Munster Championship in 1996. He joined the Cork senior team in 1997. From his debut, Sheehan was better known as a panellist rather than a member of the starting fifteen and made a number of National League and Championship appearances in a career that ended in 2000. During that time he was part of Cork's All-Ireland Championship-winning team in 1999. [2] Sheehan also secured two Munster Championship medals.

Valley Rovers GAA Club is a Gaelic Athletic Association club in the parish of Innishannon in County Cork, Ireland. Formed in 1919 when the two teams in the parish, Innishannon and Knockavilla, came together. The club fields teams in hurling, Gaelic football, Camogie and Ladies' Football. It participates in the Carrigdhoun division of Cork GAA.

O'Connor played for Cork Senior Championship club Newtownshandrum and was a member of the Cork senior hurling team for 14 seasons, during which time he usually lined out as a right wing-forward. Noted for his commanding presence and scoring ability on the wing, he is regarded as one of the greatest players of his generation.
Wayne Sherlock is an Irish retired hurler who played for Cork Senior Championship club Blackrock. He played for the Cork senior hurling team for 8 seasons, starting as a right wing-back before later lining out as a right corner-back. Sherlock is considered to be one of the greatest defenders of his era.
Timmy McCarthy is an Irish retired hurler who played for East Cork club Castlelyons. He played for the Cork senior hurling team for 12 seasons, during which time he usually lined out as a right wing-forward.

Fergal McCormack is an Irish hurling coach and former hurler. He played for North Cork club Mallow and was a member of the Cork senior hurling team for eight seasons, during which time he usually lined out at centre-forward.
Cathal Casey is an Irish retired hurler who played as a right wing-back for the Cork senior team.
John Browne is an Irish hurling manager and former hurler who played for Cork Senior Championship club Blackrock. He played for the Cork senior hurling team over a seven-year period, during which time he usually lined out as a left corner-back. Browne's brothers, Alan and Richard, also played for Cork.
Ballinhassig is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the village of Ballinhassig in County Cork, Republic of Ireland. The club was founded in 1886, and now plays Hurling at Premier Intermediate level, having won the Cork Intermediate Hurling Championship in 2005, and the Cork Junior Hurling Championship in 2002.
Stemming from these County Championship wins, Ballinhassig competed in Munster and All-Ireland Club Championships, and have won the following Club Championship Finals: Junior Munster Club Final, Junior All-Ireland Junior Club Hurling Championship Final, Intermediate Munster Club Final; but lost out to Dicksboro, of Kilkenny town, in the All-Ireland Intermediate Club Hurling Championship Final, played in Croke Park. The club also plays Gaelic football, but hurling is much stronger. The club is a member of Carrigdhoun division of Cork GAA.
Colm Sheehan was an Irish hurler. He played for club side Éire Óg, divisional side Muskerry and was the full-forward on the Cork senior hurling team that won the 1966 All-Ireland Championship.
