The Bretagne Classic, also called Bretagne Classic Ouest-France, is an elite cycling classic held annually in late summer around the Breton village of Plouay in western France.

He was ranked as no. 3 in the world by UCI as of 31 August 2009, when he was 22 years old. He is known as an all-rounder, having won the Norwegian National Road Race Championships in 2012, 2015 and 2016. He is also a ten-time winner of the Norwegian National Time Trial Championships.

Tour de Bretagne Cycliste, also known as the Tour de Bretagne trophée des granitiers and formerly known as Ruban Granitier Breton, is an annual early season professional cycling stage race held in late April and early May in Brittany, France. The race often acts as a show case for upcoming riders of the under 23 category who race together with Elite riders. The race was renamed Tour de Bretagne in 2005 when the race also became a professional race.

The 2010 season for Team Sky, its first, began in January with the Tour Down Under. As a UCI ProTour team, they were automatically invited and obliged to attend every event in the ProTour. The team formed for the 2010 season as part of an initiative by British Cycling to produce the first ever British Tour de France winner within five years. Much of the team's ridership is British, most of it is anglophone, and the team competes under a British licence. Its manager is Dave Brailsford, the former Performance Director of British Cycling. Senior Director Sportif was Australian ex-professional road cyclist Scott Sunderland. Team Sky's other Sports Directors were former professional cyclists Marcus Ljungqvist from Sweden, the Briton Sean Yates, and Steven de Jongh from the Netherlands.
The Tour of Norway is a road bicycle race held annually in Norway. It is considered as a successor to the stage race Ringerike GP, which is now a one-day race. It was started in 2011 as a result of the heightened interest in cycling in Norway, mainly due to good results of professional cyclists Thor Hushovd and Edvald Boasson Hagen. The race is ranked 2.HC on the UCI Europe Tour, and is part of the new UCI ProSeries since 2020.

The 2013 Glava Tour of Norway was the third edition of the Glava Tour of Norway road cycling race. It was held over a period of five days between 15 and 19 May 2013. The race was a part of the 2013 UCI Europe Tour with a race classification of 2.1. Top Norwegian cyclists competing in the race included Edvald Boasson Hagen, Lars Petter Nordhaug, and Alexander Kristoff, with the notable exception of Thor Hushovd, who raced in the 2013 Tour of California instead.
Reidar Bohlin Borgersen is a Norwegian former racing cyclist, and speed skater. He rode at the 2014 UCI Road World Championships, and was the 2012 and 2014 winner of the Norwegian National Time Trial Championships.

Uno-X Mobility is a Norwegian UCI ProTeam founded in 2010. The team is sponsored by fuel station chain Uno-X.
Daniel Hoelgaard is a Norwegian former cyclist, who last rode for UCI ProTeam Uno-X Pro Cycling Team. He was named in the startlist for the 2017 Vuelta a España. Hoelgaard retired from competition at the end of the 2021 season. He is the brother of fellow racing cyclist Markus Hoelgaard.
