Jonathan Cherry (born December 3, 1977) is a Canadian actor. He is best known for his role as Rory Peters in the supernatural horror film Final Destination 2 (2003). His other notable film roles include House of the Dead (2003) and Goon (2011).
Jonathan Cherry was born in Montreal, Quebec on December 3, 1978. However, he grew up in Toronto, Ontario. Cherry attended Vancouver Film School and graduated with a degree in acting.

He started performing as a stand up comedian before transitioning his career to acting in film and television. Winters received numerous accolades including two Grammy Awards, and Primetime Emmy Award as well as a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1960, the American Academy of Achievement in 1973, and the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor in 1999.
Jonathan Gregory Brandis was an American actor. Beginning his career as a child model, Brandis moved on to acting in commercials and subsequently won television and film roles. Brandis made his acting debut in 1982 as Kevin Buchanan on the soap opera One Life to Live. In 1990, he portrayed Bill Denbrough in the television miniseries It, and starred as Bastian Bux in The NeverEnding Story II: The Next Chapter. In 1993, at the age of 17, he was cast in the role of teen prodigy Lucas Wolenczak on the NBC series seaQuest DSV. The character was popular among teenage viewers, and Brandis regularly appeared in teen magazines. He died by suicide in 2003.

House of the Dead is a 2003 action horror film directed by Uwe Boll, from a screenplay by Dave Parker and Mark Altman. Based on The House of the Dead video game franchise by Sega Corporation and Wow Entertainment, Inc., it is not a direct adaptation of the individual entries; Boll described the film as a prequel to the original 1996 game. It stars Jonathan Cherry, Tyron Leitso, Clint Howard, Ona Grauer, Ellie Cornell, and Jürgen Prochnow. The film takes place on a fictional island infested by zombies, forcing survivors to fight their way off. House of the Dead was Boll's first film to be released theatrically, in addition to his first video game adaptation.
