Newsboys are a Christian rock band founded in 1985 in Mooloolaba, Queensland, Australia, by Peter Furler and George Perdikis. Now based in Nashville, Tennessee, the band has released 17 studio albums, 6 of which have been certified gold. As of 2023, the band consists of lead vocalist Michael Tait, drummer and percussionist Duncan Phillips, keyboardist Jeff Frankenstein, electric guitarist Jody Davis, and bassist Adam Agee. Casting Crowns is a contemporary Christian and Christian rock band started in 1999 by youth pastor Mark Hall, who serves as the band's lead vocalist, as part of a youth group at First Baptist Church in Downtown Daytona Beach, Florida. They later moved to Stockbridge, Georgia, and more members joined. Some members of the band currently work as ministers for Eagle's Landing First Baptist Church in McDonough, Georgia. FF5 is an American Christian rock band from Atlanta, Georgia. Laura Marie Marano is an American actress and singer. She is known for her role in the Disney Channel series Austin & Ally as Ally Dawson. Marano starred in the indie film A Sort of Homecoming, the Disney Channel Original Movie Bad Hair Day, the fifth installment of the A Cinderella Story film series A Cinderella Story: Christmas Wish, the Netflix original movie The Perfect Date, and the Netflix interactive romcom Choose Love.
Allstar Weekend was an American pop rock band based in Poway, California. The band gained its popularity from MySpace and then the Disney Channel television network. The band consisted of lead singer Zachary "Zach" Porter, bassist Cameron Quiseng, drummer Michael Martinez, and lead guitarist Nathan Darmody. In September 2011, Darmody left the band and later pursued his solo career. They were best known for the singles "Dance Forever", "Come Down with Love", and "A Different Side of Me". They disbanded on August 4, 2013.
Jasmine Alexandria Sagginario, better known simply as Jasmine, is an American pop singer and songwriter. Jasmine is best known for winning Radio Disney's 2009 N.B.T. competition. She was a featured artist for Trinity Broadcasting Network's iShine KNECT, providing the show's original theme song. Hello My Name Is... is the only studio album by American singer and songwriter Bridgit Mendler released on October 22, 2012, through Hollywood Records. Mendler began planning the project in 2011 and co-wrote all fifteen of its tracks.
Matthew Charles Johnson, professionally known as Matt Johnson is a country music singer and songwriter from Dallas, Texas. Johnson was a contestant on Radio Disney’s Next Big Thing season two.
Radio Disney's Next Big Thing was a singing contest broadcast on Radio Disney that first launched in November 2008. The contest took place over 10 weeks, with new and unsigned artists or bands competing every two weeks. Radio listeners could then vote for the singer or band of their choice to progress in the contest, with the overall winner being announced at the contest's end.
Austin & Ally: Turn It Up is the second soundtrack of the Disney Channel Original Series, Austin & Ally, following the debut soundtrack of the same name (2012). Austin & Ally: Turn It Up features songs from the second and third seasons.
Jacob Michael Whitesides is an American singer-songwriter from Sevierville, Tennessee. He records his music for Double U Records, of which he is also the CEO. Whitesides typically writes his songs alone, which he says is because his music is "very specific to [his] story."
