Joop Tinkhof (born 22 March 1938) is a Dutch volleyball player. He competed in the men's tournament at the 1964 Summer Olympics. [1]

Petrus "Piet" Adrianus Wernink was a sailor from the Netherlands, who represented his native country at the 1920 Summer Olympics in Ostend, Belgium. With helmsman Joop Carp and fellow crew member Berend Carp, sailing the Dutch boat Oranje, Wernink took the Gold in the 6.5 Metre.

Johan Robert "Joop" Carp was a sailor from the Netherlands, who represented his native country at the 1920 Summer Olympics in Ostend, Belgium. With crew Bernard Carp and Petrus Wernink, helming Dutch boat Oranje, Carp took the Gold in the 6.5 Metre. In the 1924 Olympics Carp took part of the competition in the 6 Metre with the Dutch boat Willem Six with crew members Anthonij Guépin and Jan Vreede Carp took this time the bronze medal. In the 1936 Olympics Carp returned to the Olympics as helmsman of the Dutch 6 Metre De Ruyter this time with crew members Ansco Dokkum, Kees Jonker, Herman Looman, Ernst Moltzer and finished eighth overall.

Johannes Jacobus "Joop" van Woerkom was a Dutch water polo player who competed in the 1936 Summer Olympics. He was part of the Dutch team which finished fifth in the 1936 tournament. He played two matches as goalkeeper.

The following squads took part in the 1964 Men's Olympic Volleyball Tournament. It was the first edition of the event, organised by the world's governing body, the FIVB in conjunction with the IOC. It was held in Yokohama and Tokyo, Japan from 13 to 23 October 1964.

Johannes Jozephus Franciscus "Joop" Harmans was a Dutch cyclist who competed at the 1948 Summer Olympics in London, where he was eliminated alongside his national squad in the first round of the men's team pursuit. He was born in Amsterdam and became Dutch national champion in the 50 km event in 1946. Following his Olympic appearance he worked as the manager of a bicycle factory and later opened his own shop in Amsterdam. He died on 2 February 2015, within a week of two other members of the Dutch men's team pursuit squad, Henk Faanhof and Gerrit Voorting.

Johan Christiaan Dirk "Joop" van Werkhoven is a sailor from the Netherlands, who represented his native country at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. With his brother Robert van Werkhoven as crew Van Werkhoven took the 13th place in the 470.

Johannes "Joop" Cabout was a Dutch male water polo player. He was a member of the Netherlands men's national water polo team. He was part of the 1948 Olympic team, that won the bronze medal, as a reserve. He competed for the team at the 1949 Trofeo Italia and 1950 European Championships where the team won the gold medal. He competed with the team at the 1952 Summer Olympics. The Dutch team was heavily favored for a medal, but were eliminated after a controversial match against Yugoslavia. During his whole career he played for the water polo club GZC in Gouda. Cabout won the Dutch title in 1954 and 1957 with the team.

Job Johannes "Joop" Gouweleeuw was a Dutch judoka. He competed in 93 kg event at the 1965 and 1966 European Judo Championships, winning a silver and gold medal, respectively. He also competed at the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. He was born in Delft, South Holland.
