Josef Brabenec Jr. (born 24 April 1957) is a Canadian former professional tennis player. [1]
Brabenec, who was born in Czechoslovakia, won the Canadian national indoor singles championships in 1979. [2]
A left-handed player, he featured primarily in doubles while competing on the Grand Prix circuit in the 1980s. His best performance came at the 1982 Canadian Open, where he partnered with Ivan Lendl to reach the doubles semi-finals. He made doubles main draw appearances at both the French Open and Wimbledon.
Between 1980 and 1985 he represented the Canada Davis Cup team, which for much of this time was coached by his father, Josef Brabenec Sr. [3] In his debut tie against the Caribbean/West Indies he played and won two singles rubbers, but in his five other appearance was used as a doubles specialist.
Wojciech Fibak is a Polish former professional tennis player, entrepreneur, and art collector. Fibak is best known for his doubles success with Dutch pro Tom Okker and Australian Kim Warwick, although he also reached the Top 10 in singles.
Henri Leconte is a French former professional tennis player. He reached the men's singles final at the French Open in 1988, won the French Open men's doubles title in 1984, and helped France win the Davis Cup in 1991. Leconte's career-high singles ranking was world No. 5.
John Lloyd is a British former professional tennis player. Lloyd reached an ATP world ranking of 21 in July 1978, and was ranked as UK number 1 in 1984 and 1985. He now works as a tennis commentator.
Ramesh Krishnan is an Indian tennis coach and former professional tennis player. As a junior player in the late 1970s, he won the singles titles at both, Wimbledon and the French Open. He went on to reach three Grand Slam quarterfinals in the 1980s and was a part of the Indian team captained by Vijay Amritraj which reached the final of the Davis Cup in 1987 against Sweden. Krishnan also beat then-world No. 1, Mats Wilander, at the 1989 Australian Open. He became India's Davis Cup captain in 2007.

The 2022 ATP Tour calendar comprised the Grand Slam tournaments, the ATP Finals, the ATP Tour Masters 1000, the ATP Cup, the ATP 500 series and the ATP 250 series. Also included in the 2022 calendar were the Davis Cup, Wimbledon, the Next Gen ATP Finals, and Laver Cup, none of which distributed ranking points. As part of international sports' reaction to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the ATP, the WTA, the ITF, and the four Grand Slam tournaments jointly announced on 1 March that players from Belarus and Russia would not be allowed to play in tournaments under the names or flags of their countries, but would remain eligible to play events until further notice. On 20 May 2022, the ATP, ITF, and WTA announced that ranking points would not be awarded for Wimbledon, due to the All England Club's decision to prohibit players from Belarus or Russia from participating in the tournament.
