Cynthia Baldwin is an American jurist who was a justice of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court after serving sixteen years as a Pennsylvania County Court judge. Baldwin was the first African-American woman elected to the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas and the second African-American woman to serve on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. She retired from the Pennsylvania Supreme Court in 2008. After her retirement from the Court, she became a partner with Duane Morris and served as the first General Counsel for the Pennsylvania State University.
Johnson Evan Gicheru was a Kenyan lawyer and a Chief Justice of Kenya. He was appointed by President Mwai Kibaki upon his election in 2003. He was the 12th Chief Justice of the Republic of Kenya and served the longest term by any African Chief Justice in Kenya's history, from 2003 and finally retiring on 27 February 2011. He died on 25 December 2020.
Vincent Cyril Richard Arthur Charles (V.C.R.A.C.) Crabbe was a Ghanaian jurist. He served as a judge of the Supreme Court of Ghana during the second and third Ghanaian Republics. Before serving as a judge, he did work as Head of Drafting at Ghana's Ministry of Justice and produced the legislations to be passed by the early Ghanaian National Assembly. He established and headed an electoral commission, the first ever, to conduct the 1969 Ghanaian Election. He was a leading figure in the drafting and review of multiple constitutions in Ghana and the Commonwealth.
