Joshua Goater is an Australian rules footballer who plays for North Melbourne Football Club in the Australian Football League.
Goater's father David was also a footballer, playing for East Perth Football Club in the WAFL. Goater was a North Melbourne supporter in childhood. In 2021, he spent four weeks with Essendon's VFL side, playing one game against the Frankston Football Club, during which he kicked a goal. [1]
Goater was draft by North Melbourne with pick 22 in the 2021 AFL draft. Goater made his debut in the last game of the 2022 season.
