Robert Hansen Jr. (born 13 March 2004) is a professional Australian rules footballer for the North Melbourne Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL).
Hansen hails from Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. [1] He played for Mines Rovers Football Club as a child before moving to Perth at age 10 and went through Subiaco Football Club's development pathways, as well as school football for Trinity College. [2]
Hansen was recruited by North Melbourne with the 2nd overall selection in the 2023 mid-season rookie draft. [3]
Hansen debuted for North Melbourne in round 20 of the 2023 AFL season in a 5-point loss to West Coast. [4] [5]
