Sigma Pi (ΣΠ) is a collegiate fraternity with 232 chapters at American universities. As of 2021, the fraternity had more than 5,000 undergraduate members and over 118,000 alumni.
In the United States, an honor society is a rank organization that recognizes excellence among peers. Numerous societies recognize various fields and circumstances. The Order of the Arrow, for example, is the National Honor Society of the Boy Scouts of America. Chiefly, the term refers to scholastic honor societies, those that recognize students who excel academically or as leaders among their peers, often within a specific academic discipline.
The Association of College Honor Societies (ACHS) is a predominantly American, voluntary association that serves a number of functions with respect to national collegiate and post-graduate honor societies. ACHS coordinates member organizations, facilitates communications between them, and provides both scholarships and an outlet for publication to members through its member organizations. ACHS member societies undergo periodic audits to validate their adherence to ACHS standards and their qualification for membership and ACHS certification.
Phi Sigma Epsilon (ΦΣΕ) was a North American social fraternity that operated for 75 years until its merger with the Phi Sigma Kappa (ΦΣΚ) fraternity. In 1985, the majority of Phi Sigma Epsilon chapters participated in the merger. Phi Sigma Kappa incorporated many of the symbols of Phi Sigma Epsilon into its own, changing its crest, and expanding its Cardinal Principals, symbolism, rituals, and historical canon to embrace the milestones of Phi Sigma Epsilon's development. These changes were soon fully adopted by all chapters of the fraternity which retained the name Phi Sigma Kappa.

Phi Sigma Phi,(ΦΣΦ) is a national fraternity in the United States founded on July 30, 1988 in South Bend, Indiana by chapters formerly of Phi Sigma Epsilon that declined to participate in that fraternity's merger into Phi Sigma Kappa. There are currently five active chapters and one active colony of Phi Sigma Phi nationwide. The current national president is University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point alumnus, Joshua Finch.
Theta Nu Epsilon is a sophomore class society. Founded at Wesleyan University in 1870 as a chapter of Skull and Bones, the society accepts members regardless of their fraternity status.
Theta Upsilon Omega (ΘΥΩ), was a national collegiate fraternity in the United States. Representatives of several local fraternities at a December 1, 1923 meeting of locals, organized by the National Interfraternity Conference, determined to form a new national through amalgamation, resulting in the creation of Theta Upsilon Omega on May 2, 1924.
Pi Kappa Sigma was a national collegiate sorority operating in the United States from November 17, 1894, until it was absorbed by Sigma Kappa in 1959. Pi Kap was the first pedagogical sorority.

Roger R. Festa was a professor of chemistry at Truman State University in Kirksville, MO. Festa completed his AB at Saint Michael's College, his MA at the University of Vermont, his PhD at the University of Connecticut, and post-doctoral study at Indiana University. Festa served as president of the American Institute of Chemists during 1996 and 1997, and on the AIC Board of Directors for 18 years, seven of which as an officer. He continued his service as a member of the board of trustees of the American Institute of Chemists Foundation. From 1980 to 1990, Festa served as an associate editor of the Journal of Chemical Education. His primary research interest was in the processes and outcomes of undergraduate chemistry education. Festa was also a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity, and served as the faculty advisor of the Missouri Mu chapter at Truman State University. He was also a member of the board of governors of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Educational Foundation. In 1985, Festa and H. David Wohlers established Truman's chapter of Alpha Chi Sigma, the co-ed professional fraternity in chemistry. Festa was an emeritus member of the Council of Scientific Society Presidents. Roger Festa died in St. Louis on May 25, 2018.
Carl H. Lindner College of Business, also referred to as "Lindner" and "Lindner College," is a college of the University of Cincinnati. The college is located in Carl H. Lindner Hall. On June 21, 2011, the college was named after Carl Henry Lindner, Jr. in honor of the contributions he has made to the university, college, and the business community. The college has three undergraduate degree options, five master's degrees, and a doctoral program spread out over seven departments.
