The Cabinet of Brazil, also called Council of Ministers or Council of Government, is composed of the Ministers of State and senior advisors of the executive branch of the federal government of Brazil. Cabinet officers are appointed and dismissed by the President. There are currently twenty-three Ministries, including six Ministry-level offices: the Chief of Staff, General-Secretariat of the Presidency, Secretariat of Institutional Relations, Secretariat of Social Communication, Personal Office of the President of the Republic and the Institutional Security Office. Other institutions also assists the Presidency.

The Public Prosecutor's Office is the Brazilian body of independent public prosecutors at both the federal and state level. It operates independently from the three branches of government. It was once referred by constitutional lawyer and former president Michel Temer as a "Fourth Branch". The Constitution of 1988 divides the functions of the Public Prosecutor's Office into three different bodies: the Public Procurator's Office, the Public Defender's Office and the Public Prosecutor's Office itself, each one of them an independent body. In addition to that, the new Constitution created the Courts of Account, also autonomous in its functions.

Eduardo Refinetti Guardia was a Brazilian economist who served as Finance Minister of Brazil from 2018 to 2019. In addition to his political career, between 2010 and 2016, he directed BM&FBOVESPA. After leaving the finance ministry, he became a partner in and the CEO of BTG Pactual Asset management.
Álvaro Coutinho Aguirre was a Brazilian agronomist, zoologist and naturalist. Aguirre created the first reserve park for wild animals in Brazil, the Sooretama Biological Reserve at the state of Espírito Santo (the first protected area created in Brazil was in 1937. He dedicated his life to the preservation of the Brazilian flora and fauna, especially the Atlantic Forest and the biggest primate of the Americas, the Muriqui. During the 1960s, he undertook many expeditions to study the life and habits of the Muriqui and its conditions at the time. The results showed a considerable reduction of the groups of the animals, due to deforestation and lack of preservation of their habitat.
Eduardo Tadao Takahashi was a Brazilian computer scientist and researcher who was credited with contributions toward planning, deployment, and adoption of the internet in Brazil and other Latin American countries. He was a founding director of Brazil's National Research Network (RNP), an academic network that coordinated actions toward setting up the country's national internet backbone. He was inducted into the Internet Hall of Fame in 2017.
