The Journal of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology is the official journal of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology. The journal is peer-reviewed monthly that publishes articles of general and practical interest in the field of dermatology and venereology on clinical and basic science topics, as well as research with practical implications. According to the Journal Citation Reports , the journal has a 2022 impact factor of 9.2. [1]
Pyoderma gangrenosum is a rare, inflammatory skin disease where painful pustules or nodules become ulcers that progressively grow. Pyoderma gangrenosum is not infectious.

Miloš M. Nikolić is the Professor and Chairman, Department of Dermatovenereology, University of Belgrade School of Medicine. M. Nikolić is Director of the Clinic of Dermatovenereology, Clinical Center of Serbia, Belgrade and Head of the Division of Pediatric and Adolescent Dermatology. He was the Secretary (1990–1994) and the President (2001–2005) of the Dermatovenereology Section of the Serbian Medical Society. He was the President of the Serbian Association of Dermatovenereologists from 2011 to 2015. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV) 2014-2019. Chairman of the Honours and Awards Committee of the EADV since 2019. Member of the Board of the European Society for Pediatric Dermatology (ESPD) since 2004. Associate Editor of the journal Dermatologic Therapy since 2022.
Dr AJ Kanwar is an Indian Dermatologist. He has been Senior Professor and Head, Department of Dermatology, Venereology & Leprology, PGI Chandigarh and currently practices in his hometown, New Delhi, India. Dr AJ Kanwar is the son of Late Shri Inder Singh and Smt Shanti Devi and was born on 29 June 1948. He attended school in New Delhi and graduated from the prestigious AIIMS, New Delhi in MBBS in 1969. He continued in AIIMS, New Delhi to obtain his post graduate degree (M.D.) in Dermatology and Venereology in 1975. After his senior residency in AIIMS, Dr Kanwar went on a foreign assignment in Benghazi, Libya. He also served a year in St John's Institute of Dermatology, London during a Commonwealth Medical Fellowship. He received a special training in Pediatric Dermatology during this year. To his credit are also time in National Institute of Health, Washington USA in 2006 for a Fellowship in AIDS, and a month in Kurume, Japan in 2010 for special training in Pemphigus. Dr Kanwar's foreign assignment in Libya, ended in 1987 when he returned to join PGI Chandigarh.
Lajos Kemény is a Hungarian dermatologist, venereologist, allergologist, medical researcher, full professor and the Head of the Department of Dermatology and Allergology, the director of the Albert Szent-Györgyi Health Center, Faculty of Medicine, University of Szeged and the Vice-Rector for Science, Research Development and Innovation. He is a notable and respected scientist both in Hungary and around the world.

Gokhan Okan is a Turkish physician and author. He is European Board Certified as an associate professor dermatologist. He took part in 23rd World Congress of Dermatology which was conducted in Vancouver in the year 2015. For his work, he was inducted as a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland, and of the Royal College of Physicians of London.
Archives of Dermatological Research, published by Springer Science+Business Media, is a peer-reviewed medical journal that focuses on skin disease. It was established as the Archiv für Dermatologie und Syphilis in 1869 by Heinrich Auspitz and Philipp Josef Pick. Springer acquired the journal in 1921 and renamed it the Archiv für klinische und experimentelle Dermatologie und Syphilis. In the 1950s it followed the general trend to drop its link to sexually transmitted infections in its title. It became the Archiv für Dermatologische Forschung in 1971 before obtaining its current name in 1975.
