Iona was a progressive Celtic Christian rock band from the United Kingdom. It was formed in the late 1980s by lead vocalist Joanne Hogg and multi-instrumentalists David Fitzgerald and Dave Bainbridge. Troy Donockley joined later, playing the uilleann pipes, low whistles, and other instruments.

The album was primarily produced by David Foster, with additional production by Jim Corr. In January 1997, a special tour edition of the album was released in Australia and New Zealand and featured a bonus disc containing live and rare tracks which were recorded from their Forgiven, Not Forgotten World Tour.

It peaked at number seven on the US Billboard Hot 100, topped the Canadian RPM 100 Singles chart, and became a top-20 hit in Australia and New Zealand. "What I Am" was ranked number 23 on VH1's list of the "100 Greatest One-Hit Wonders of the 80s".
"Only When I Sleep" is a song by Irish folk rock band The Corrs, released in September 1997 as the lead single from their sophomore album, Talk on Corners (1997). The song focuses on being in love with someone and fantasizing, in your dreams, not focusing on someone in reality. The track was also included on the second issuing of the album, Talk on Corners: Special Edition (1998), and was also recorded live with an orchestra for MTV's Unplugged (1999). It is also featured on Dreams: The Ultimate Corrs Collection (2006). "Only When I Sleep" managed to peak at number 10 on the Irish Singles Chart, number 34 on the Australian Singles Chart, and number 58 on the UK Singles Chart.
