The Fourth Asian Beach Games were held in Phuket Island, Phuket province, Thailand. The games were originally scheduled for Boracay Island, Aklan, Philippines, but was affected by the OCA's hosting changes.
The Ju-Jitsu International Federation (JJIF) is an international sport federation founded in 1998 after the expansion of the European Ju-Jitsu Federation (EJJF) for the propagation of the modern competitive sports version of Jujitsu, also known as Sport Ju-Jitsu.
The Pakistan Ju-Jitsu Federation (PJJF) is the national official governing body to promote and control Ju Jitsu Sports activities in Pakistan and is currently headed by Mr. Khalil Ahmed Khan a martial artist having black belt 6 Dan and more than 36 years of experience in coaching. The federation was established in the year 1996. Ju-Jitsu is the only Sports in Pakistan which brought many Laurels for the country by winning Gold, Silver and bronze medals from the official games i.e. Asian Beach Games, Asian Martial Arts Games, Asian Martial arts and Indoor Games.
Beach water polo competition at the 2014 Asian Beach Games was held in Phuket, Thailand from 18 to 22 November 2014 at Karon Beach, Phuket. Kazakhstan won the gold medal in a round robin competition, Iran won the silver medal and Kuwait finished third.

Pakistan participated in the 2014 Asian Beach Games in Phuket, Thailand from 14 to 23 November 2014. It will participate in the beach handball, beach kabaddi, beach wrestling, bodybuilding, ju-jitsu, sailing, squash and windsurfing events.

She has earned the Philippines prestige by winning and becoming the first Filipino Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu World Champion as a white belt in 2009 and for winning the Country's 1st ever gold medal at the Asian Beach Games for Ju Jitsu in 2014.
Iran competed at the 2016 Asian Beach Games held in Danang, Vietnam from 24 September to 3 October 2016. Iran finished 4th in medal table with 21 medals including nine gold medals.
Ju-jitsu at the 2018 Asian Games was held at the Jakarta Convention Center Assembly Hall, Jakarta, Indonesia, from 24 to 26 August 2018.
