Fr. Juan Ignacio Molina (Spanish pronunciation:[xwaniɣˈnasjomoˈlina];was a Chilean Jesuit priest,naturalist,historian,translator,geographer,botanist,ornithologist,and linguist. He is usually referred to as Abate Molina,and is also sometimes known by the Italian form of his name,Giovanni Ignazio Molina.
