Juan Manuel Rocha Piedra (born 27 June 1960) is a Mexican politician affiliated with the PRI. As of 2013 he served as Deputy of the LXII Legislature of the Mexican Congress representing Nayarit. [1]

Albuquerque,abbreviated as ABQ,is the most populous city in the U.S. state of New Mexico. Its nicknames,The Duke City and Burque,both reference its 1706 founding by Nuevo México governor Francisco Cuervo y Valdés as La Villa de Alburquerque. Named in honor of the Viceroy of New Spain,the 10th Duke of Alburquerque,the city was an outpost on El Camino Real linking Mexico City to the northernmost territories of New Spain. El Paso is a city in and the county seat of El Paso County in the far southwestern part of the U.S. state of Texas. The 2020 population of the city from the U.S. Census Bureau was 678,815,making it the 23rd-largest city in the United States,the sixth-largest city in Texas,and the second-largest city in the Southwestern United States behind Phoenix,Arizona. The city is also the second-largest majority-Hispanic city in the United States,with 81% of its population being Hispanic. Its metropolitan statistical area covers all of El Paso and Hudspeth counties in Texas,and had a population of 868,859 in 2020.
The Battle of Puebla took place on 5 May,Cinco de Mayo,1862,near Puebla City during the Second French intervention in Mexico. French troops under the command of Charles de Lorencez repeatedly failed to storm the forts of Loreto and Guadalupe situated on top of the hills overlooking the city of Puebla,and eventually retreated to Orizaba in order to await reinforcements. Lorencez was dismissed from his command,and French troops under under Élie Frédéric Forey would eventually take the city,but the Mexican victory at Puebla against a better equipped force provided patriotic inspiration to the Mexicans.

Lucha libre is the term used in Mexico for professional wrestling. Since its introduction to Mexico in the early 20th century,it has developed into a unique form of the genre,characterized by colorful masks,rapid sequences of holds and maneuvers,as well as "high-flying" maneuvers,some of which have been adopted in the United States,Japan,and elsewhere. The wearing of masks has developed special significance,and matches are sometimes contested in which the loser must permanently remove his mask,which is a wager with a high degree of weight attached. Tag team wrestling is especially prevalent in lucha libre,particularly matches with three-member teams,called trios.
Club de Fútbol América S.A. de C.V.,commonly known as Club América or simply América,is a professional football club based in Mexico City,Mexico. Joaquín Archivaldo Guzmán Loera,commonly known as "El Chapo" because of his 168 cm stature,is a Mexican former drug lord and a former leader within the Sinaloa Cartel,an international crime syndicate. He is considered to have been one of the most powerful drug traffickers in the world.
Miguel Ángel Félix Gallardo,commonly referred to by his aliases El Jefe de Jefes and El Padrino,is a convicted Mexican drug lord. He was one of the founders of the Guadalajara Cartel in the 1970s. Throughout the 1980s,the cartel controlled much of the drug trafficking in Mexico and the corridors along the Mexico–United States border.
Rafael Caro Quintero is a Mexican drug lord who co-founded the now-disintegrated Guadalajara Cartel with Miguel Ángel Félix Gallardo and other drug traffickers in the late 1970s. He is also the founder and suspected current leader of the newly formed Caborca Cartel based in Sonora. He is the brother of fellow drug trafficker Miguel Caro Quintero,founder and former leader of the defunct Sonora Cartel.
The Mexican drug war is an ongoing asymmetric low-intensity conflict between the Mexican government and various drug trafficking syndicates. When the Mexican military began to intervene in 2006,the government's main objective was to reduce drug-related violence. The Mexican government has asserted that their primary focus is dismantling the cartels,and preventing drug trafficking demand along with U.S. functionaries. Therefore,the conflict has been described as the Mexican theater of the global war on drugs,as led by the U.S. federal government.

The Sinaloa Cartel,also known as the CDS,the Guzmán-Loera Organization,the Pacific Cartel,the Federation and the Blood Alliance,is a large international drug trafficking,money laundering,and organized crime syndicate established in Mexico during the late 1980s as one of a various number of "plazas" operating under a predecessor organization known as the Guadalajara Cartel. It is currently headed by Ismael Zambada García and is based in the city of Culiacán,Sinaloa,with operations in many world regions but primarily in the Mexican states of Sinaloa,Baja California,Durango,Sonora,and Chihuahua. It also has a notable presence in a number of other regions in Latin America,such as Colombia;as well as in cities across the U.S. The United States Intelligence Community generally considers the Sinaloa Cartel to be the most powerful drug trafficking organization in the Western Hemisphere,making it perhaps even more influential and capable than the infamous Medellín Cartel of Colombia was during its prime. It has repeatedly been said to be one of the strongest criminal organizations in the world and indisputably the most powerful in Mexico since at least the late 2000s and early 2010s by various sources including the Los Angeles Times.
Cinco de Mayo is a yearly celebration held on May 5,which commemorates the anniversary of Mexico's victory over the Second French Empire at the Battle of Puebla in 1862,led by General Ignacio Zaragoza. The victory of a smaller,poorly equipped Mexican force against the larger and better-armed French army was a morale boost for the Mexicans. Zaragoza died months after the battle from an illness,and a larger French force ultimately defeated the Mexican army at the Second Battle of Puebla and occupied Mexico City.
