Jubilee Park is an urban park located in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, India. [1] It is a popular destination for all those who wish to have an outdoor picnic, enjoy some outdoor activities and games or even just to have a relaxing day out with friends and family. [2] Popular amongst joggers and cyclists, it is a gigantic park, recreation centre, fountains and a zoo, amongst other attractions.
This local attraction was opened to the public in 1958, on the occasion of the city's golden jubilee, the 50th anniversary of establishment. [3] This park was originally a gift to the town of Tatanagar(Jamshedpur) from the Tata Steel Company.
While being built under the visionary Jamsetji Tata, the Brindavan Gardens in Mysore were used as an inspiration. This park also shows off a status of Jamsetji Tata and is also known as the Mughal Gardens of Jamshedpur. The presence of the Tata Steel Zoological Park, Nicco Jubilee Amusement Park, Jayanti Sarovar(Zoo Lake), Bat Island, Children's Park, and Rose Garden is part of the reason why this park is such a famous one.
The entire park is spread over 200 acres (0.81 km2) [4] of land located in the neighbourhood of Sakchi. [5] It is one of the five largest urban parks of India along with Cubbon Park (Bangalore), Shivaji Park (Mumbai), Chandrashekhar Azad Park (Allahabad) and Maidan (Kolkata). [6] Jubilee Park provides inner connectivity of the park. In the vicinity of Jubilee other parks —Tata Steel Zoological Park and Nicco Water Jubilee Park are located. [7] Jayanti Sarovar is a man made lake in the center of Jubilee Park where an island called the Bat Island is located there. [8] Boating with charges accordingly to time is available over there. [9]
The Tata Steel Zoological Park is a zoo and a safari park known for Bengal tiger. [10] In the safari region the tigers are left free and visitors travel in a safari jeep. [11] Nicco Water Park is a water park adjacent to it. It is home to all water rides as well as swimming pools. [12] Recently it has also became a wedding spot. [13] Rose Garden is located at a slight corner of Jubilee Road. [7] Nicco Amusement Park is an amusement park, a part of it home to numerous rides. The laser fountain show of Jubilee Park is popular. [14] On the occasion of Founder's Day, the park is decorated with lights and fountains. [15]

ZooTampa at Lowry Park is a 63-acre (25 ha) nonprofit zoo located in Tampa, Florida. In 2009, Lowry Park Zoo was voted the #1 Family Friendly Zoo in the US by Parents Magazine, and is recognized by the State of Florida as the center for Florida wildlife conservation and biodiversity. Kankaria Lake is the second largest lake in Ahmedabad in the Indian state of Gujarat. It is located in the south-eastern part of the city, in the Maninagar area. It was completed in 1451 during the reign of Sultan Qutb-ud-Din Ahmad Shah II though its origin is placed in the Chaulukya period sometimes. A lakefront is developed around it, which has many public attractions such as a zoo, toy train, kids city, tethered balloon ride, water rides, water park, food stalls, and entertainment facilities. The lakefront was revamped in 2007–2008. Kankaria Carnival is a week-long festival held here in the last week of December. Many cultural, art, and social activities are organised during the carnival.

Nicco Park is an amusement park located in Jheel Meel, Sector - IV of Bidhannagar, West Bengal, India. The park was created to attract tourists to the state by providing family-friendly recreation as well as educative entertainment. Nicco Park opened on 13 October 1991 and has since been referred to as the Disneyland of West Bengal. Nawab Wajid Ali Shah Prani Udyan, earlier known as Prince of Wales Zoological Gardens or popularly known as Lucknow Zoological Garden, and Banaarsi Baag, is a 71.6-acre (29.0 ha) zoo located in the heart of the capital city of Uttar Pradesh named after Wajid Ali Shah - the last Nawab of Awadh. According to the Central Zoo Authority of India, it is a large zoo. The Prince of Wales Zoological Gardens, was established in the year 1921 to commemorate the visit of the Prince of Wales to Lucknow. The idea of establishing Zoological gardens at Lucknow emanated from Sir Harcourt Butler, the Governor of the State.

Sakchi was a village in north eastern Indian territory of Singhbhum which was selected by Jamsetji Tata to be the location of a planned steel city, which in 1919 became Jamshedpur. Sakchi is now part of the city between the Tata Steel site and the river Subarnarekha. Then it was known as Kalimati. Due to the presence of iron ore, river water and sand, Jamsetji Tata decided to establish TISCO there. The company is now known as Tata Steel Ltd.
Arignar Anna Zoological Park, also known as the Vandalur Zoo, is a zoological garden located in Vandalur, Chennai, India, about 31 kilometres (19 mi) from the Chennai Central and 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) from Chennai Airport. Established in 1855, it is the second public zoo in India. It is affiliated with the Central Zoo Authority of India. Spread over an area of 602 hectares, including a 92.45-hectare (228.4-acre) rescue and rehabilitation centre. The zoo houses 2,553 species of flora and fauna across 1,265 acres (512 ha). As of 2012 the park houses around 1,500 wild species, including 46 endangered species, in its 160 enclosures. As of 2010, there were about 47 species of mammals, 63 species of birds, 31 species of reptiles, 5 species of amphibians, 28 species of fishes, and 10 species of insects in the park. The park, with an objective to be a repository of the state's fauna, is credited with being the second wildlife sanctuary in Tamil Nadu after Mudumalai National Park.
Jamshedji Nusserwanji Tata was an Indian industrialist and philanthropist who founded the Tata Group, India's biggest conglomerate company. He established the city of Jamshedpur.
The Kurumbapatti Zoological Park is a second largest zoo in Tamil Nadu next to Arignar Anna Zoological Park, situated in the foothills of the Shervaroyan Hills, 10 km from Salem, Tamil Nadu, India. It was set up in 1981 as a small museum and was later extended to 69 Ha. The zoo houses many species of wildlife, with monkeys as the major attraction, and is in the vicinity of reserve forest, permitting visitors the opportunity to also experience the flora and fauna there. The park has a gentle topography, areas of bamboo and woodland and semi-perennial streams. Facilities include a children's playground area.
