Julie Maree Attwood (born 31 May 1957) is a Labor politician who was the Member of the Queensland Parliament for Mount Ommaney from 1998 until she stood down at the 2012. She served as a Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Child Safety during the last year of Peter Beattie's term as Premier, and was appointed Parliamentary Secretary to the Treasurer by Anna Bligh after she took power in September 2007. When the Bligh Ministry was reshuffled following Labor's re-election at the 2009 election, Attwood was made Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Disability Services and Multicultural Affairs, and became she Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Health in February 2011. Attwood obtained a Graduate Certificate of Case Management and Client Service from Deakin University in 1995 and prior to election worked as a Manager in the Commonwealth Employment Service.
Attwood was born in Bundaberg, Queensland and married in 1981.
On 16 January 2012, it was announced that Attwood was would not contest this year's state election. [2] Labor subsequently lost the seat to Tarnya Smith of the Liberal National Party.

Judith Caroline Spence is an Australian politician and former member of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland for the Labor Party, from the 1989 election to 2012. She represented Mount Gravatt until 2009, but after a redistribution she switched to Sunnybank, which covered much of the same territory. She was Leader of the House, a role responsible for the co-ordination and management of Government business in the Assembly from 7 April 2009 to 24 March 2012.
Kate Jennifer Jones is an Australian former politician from Queensland. She served as a Labor Party Member of Parliament in the Legislative Assembly of Queensland from 2006 to 2012, and again from 2015 to 2020. Jones first represented the seat of Ashgrove until she was defeated by eventual Premier Campbell Newman at the 2012 state election. Jones retook the seat for the Labor Party at the 2015 state election. The seat was abolished prior to the 2017 state election, so Jones contested and won the new seat of Cooper at that election. In the Palaszczuk Government, she was the Minister for Innovation and Tourism Industry Development, Minister for State Development and the Minister for the Commonwealth Games.
Stirling James Hinchliffe is an Australian politician. Born in Dalby, Queensland, he was educated at state schools and received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Queensland. He was a property industry analyst, policy manager, policy advisor and executive officer before his entry into politics. He had a long involvement with the Australian Labor Party, which included a position as National Secretary of Young Labor in 1995. In the 2006 Queensland state election, he was elected to the safe Labor seat of Stafford, which he represented until being defeated in the 2012 Queensland state election. Janice Heather Jarratt is an Australian politician. She was a teacher specialising in children with learning difficulties before entering parliament. A member of the Labor Party, she was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Queensland for the seat of Whitsunday in 2001. She was appointed Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Primary Industries and Fisheries on 13 September 2006 by Premier Peter Beattie. She served on the front bench for all of Anna Bligh's term. She was Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Tourism, Regional Development and Industry from 2007 to 2009, when she became Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Employment. In February 2011, she was promoted to the ministry as Minister for Tourism, Manufacturing and Small Business. In March 2012, Labor was swept out of power at an election that also cost Jarratt her seat.
The Beattie Ministry was a Ministry of the Government of Queensland, led by Labor Premier Peter Beattie. It commenced on 26 June 1998, thirteen days after the Borbidge Ministry, led by Premier Rob Borbidge of the National Party, was defeated at the 1998 election. It was followed by the Bligh Ministry upon Beattie's retirement as Premier on 13 September 2007.

Anna Bligh was sworn in as Premier of Queensland on 13 September 2007 with her first ministry, replacing Peter Beattie, who had retired from politics, and his ministry. She subsequently won the 2009 state election with a reduced majority against the newly merged Liberal National Party of Queensland. Shortly thereafter, on 26 March 2009, Bligh reshuffled the ministry. She conducted a second reshuffle on 21 February 2011. Following her party's loss at the 2012 state election, she soon resigned as Premier to make way for the Newman Ministry.
William Stephen Byrne is an Australian Labor politician who was elected to represent Rockhampton in the Legislative Assembly of Queensland at the 2012 state election. He served until his retirement due to ill health in 2017.
