Juneau
For their debut album, Casually Dressed and Deep in Conversation , Funeral for a Friend re-recorded the song as "Juneau" (the correct spelling for the city "Juneau" in Alaska, USA; but see contrary uses such as Juno (film) and featuring a reduced amount of aggressive vocals and a more melodic sound. This version was recorded by the 'final' line-up of Funeral for a Friend and was the version that would become one of their most famous tracks to date, being released in both single and video forms.

The video appears to take place in a cheap-looking motel. It opens with a man, presumably the proprietor of said establishment, lounging at a reception-style desk and watching porn on TV. The band is then seen walking into a large central room and beginning to play. Throughout the video, the scene changes to show: a teenage girl in her room; a man in a suit in a room containing only a box, which he eventually destroys; a man in a bathtub, sitting despondently under a running shower; and an elderly couple who sequentially sit at a table, dance, and then engage in a pillow fight. During the softer bridge section, all the characters seem to be at a turning-point, considering what to do next.
After the bridge section, once the song returns to heavier instrumentation, the people return to action, taking on more serious behaviour: the girl trashing her room, the man destroying the box, the couple having a somewhat violent (albeit still well-intentioned) pillow-fight. Eventually, the girl and man seem to make peace with themselves and their recent actions (which were perhaps therapeutically cathartic), and the elderly couple remain as happy as they have been throughout; the only ambiguity appears to be the man in the shower, whose scenes are too short and unclear to draw much of a conclusion from. The video ends with the band exiting via the same route, and the man at the front desk paying cash to lead singer Matthew Davies-Kreye.
Screaming Trees were an American rock band formed in Ellensburg, Washington in 1985, by vocalist Mark Lanegan, guitarist Gary Lee Conner, bass player Van Conner and drummer Mark Pickerel. Pickerel had been replaced by Barrett Martin by the time the band reached its most successful period. Although widely associated with grunge, the band's sound incorporated hard rock and psychedelic elements. The band released seven studio albums, five EPs, and three compilations.
Mark William Lanegan is an American singer, songwriter, and musician. He is known for his baritone voice, which has been described as being "as scratchy as a three-day beard yet as supple and pliable as moccasin leather" and has been compared to Leonard Cohen and Tom Waits.

Seven Ways to Scream Your Name is the third EP released by the Welsh post-hardcore band Funeral for a Friend. The EP was released on 21 October 2003 through Ferret Music and was produced by Joe Gibb, Colin Richardson and the band. The band did not include every track from the EPs to ensure the original EPs would be valuable.

"Red Is the New Black" was rerecorded for the band's first album Casually Dressed & Deep in Conversation, whilst "Juno" was rerecorded in a new arrangement and titled "Juneau" for the album. The band recorded a promotional video for "10:45 Amsterdam Conversations" with the current line up in late 2002 for Bandit; a Welsh TV show.

Ten Second Epic was a Canadian five-piece alternative rock band from Edmonton. The band formed in 2002 consisting of Andrew Usenik (vocals), Daniel Carriere (guitar), Craig Spelliscy (guitar), Sandy MacKinnon and Patrick Birtles (drums). TSE released three full-length albums in the course of their career, Count Yourself In, Hometown and Better Off. The band officially announced their breakup on February 25, 2014, and did their final tour in May 2014.
"Emergency" is a song by American rock band Paramore. It was released in October 21, 2005, as the second single from their debut studio album, All We Know Is Falling (2005). It was released on 7" vinyl in the United Kingdom on August 26, 2006 and contained the B-side "Oh, Star," and a poster of the band. The song was written by Hayley Williams and Josh Farro. It failed to chart in the United States, however, it was released in Kerrang!s "Class of '06" compilation CD, calling it one of the best rock tracks of that year. An alternative post-hardcore version of the song, providing a heavier sound and screamed vocals, was released on The Summer Tic EP in 2006.
Kids in Glass Houses were a Welsh rock band from Cardiff. The band's name was inspired by the lyrics "not throwing stones at you anymore" from the Glassjaw song "Tip Your Bartender". The band achieved success on the strength of the singles "Give Me What I Want" and "Saturday" off their debut album Smart Casual in 2008. The band released their second album Dirt in early 2010, releasing four singles, most notably "Matters at All". The band's third album, In Gold Blood, was released on 15 August 2011. Their fourth album, Peace, was released on 30 September 2013.
"She Drove Me to Daytime Television" is a song by Welsh post-hardcore band Funeral for a Friend. It was originally released on the band's EP Four Ways to Scream Your Name. In the US it was released on their hybrid-EP Seven Ways to Scream Your Name, a combination of the Four Ways to Scream Your Name and Between Order and Model EPs. The song also appeared on FFAF's debut LP, Casually Dressed & Deep in Conversation.
"Into Oblivion (Reunion)" is the opening track, and first single, from Funeral for a Friend's album, Tales Don't Tell Themselves. It was a single released on 7 May 2007 reaching number 16 in the UK charts in its first week. The album followed on May 14. The song debuted on The Zane Lowe rock show on 19 March 2007 and the official music video was uploaded to the band's MySpace page shortly after. It was nominated for the Kerrang! Award for Best Single. The song was once featured on Coronation Street, with David Platt sat in his car listening to the song.

"The Arms of Sorrow" is a song by American metalcore band Killswitch Engage. The song is the third song and second single from their 2006 release, As Daylight Dies. The video for this song premiered on the band's MySpace profile on April 26, 2007. This song is also track three on the 2007 Warped Tour Compilation. The song primarily showcases vocalist Howard Jones' clean vocals as it only features his trademark screams in the backing vocals, but the very end shows clear usage of the screams.
"Escape Artists Never Die" is the third and last single from Funeral for a Friend's Casually Dressed & Deep in Conversation album. This single marked the first use of the DVD format for the band's singles; second being for the very-sought-after "Monsters" DVD single. It charted at the 19th position on the UK Singles Chart, just like their previous release, "Juneau". The song was originally included on the band's second EP, Four Ways to Scream Your Name and was remixed for the album before being released as a single.
Haunts was a British rock band based in north London. Described as 'Noirists', their musical style combined elements of punk, new wave, dance, prog rock, indie and Britpop. The band referred to themselves simply as 'new wave'. Haunts' line-up consisted of Banks, Alex Woodcock, Gareth Grover and Mitch Mitchener. Haunts disbanded in 2009.
Memory and Humanity is the fourth studio album by Welsh post-hardcore band Funeral for a Friend, released on 13 October 2008. The album was released through the band's own record label Join Us Records in the UK, Victory Records in the US and Canada, and Roadrunner Records in the rest of the world.
Adelitas Way is an Independent American hard rock band formed in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States, in 2006. The band's debut single "Invincible", broke them into the mainstream scene after the song made numerous television appearances in commercials and live sporting events. As of 2017, the band has toured with notable acts such as Guns N' Roses, Creed, Papa Roach, Godsmack, Theory of a Deadman, Seether, Three Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin, Deftones, Puddle of Mudd, Sick Puppies, Shinedown, Staind, Alter Bridge, Skillet, Halestorm, Thousand Foot Krutch and others.
